Bob was a generous, wonderful man who gave me a lot of advice concerning my foot. I was fortunate enough to spend a good deal of time with him at training camps, games, and other BBI get togethers. I'm completely stunned and don't even know what to say.

Linda, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and care for you in this troubling time.

Bob...thanks for everything, but especially your warm smile and friendship over the years.
My condolences

Bob was a wonderful person. Quick to laugh, always ready with a wise remark, a dangerous golfer and a great Giant fan. He was one of the first BBIers I ever met and if we could all live up to the standard that Bob set, we would all be better people.

My sincerest sympathy to those who Bob loved and to those who loved him.

just called to tell me about this.

Bob was one of the nicest people I've ever met. While I didn't know him well, I've known him for a long time as he has been around the site forever.

He was always at camp and one of the first guys I looked for.

Heck, when my cab arrived at the hotel in Albany in July, Bob was the first to greet me. The first words out of his mouth were, "Site's down."

My prayers are with him, his friends, and family. He will be missed.
This is very sad news
Bill2 : 10/20/2007 2:57 pm : link

as I have been able to enjoy the hospitality of both he and his wife. I always made a habit to get him some good bagels to take home to MD everytime I saw him. They were quite gracious when I lost my job and went to an interview in MD....hell Bob even cooked for me.

Bob I will miss you my friend
