May God receive him into his mercy and bless his family. Bob was a BBI family member, always difficult to lose a member of the family. Big Blue will win one for Bob on Sunday.
Wow..

I've had the honor to know Bob for a few years now, a true gentleman. While chatting before the Packers game at the tailgate, I could tell there concern for his health in the story he told me ... but, this is stunning, awful news. Prayers to Linda and Bruce (BB56) who's been a close personal friend of Bob's for many years. God Bless, Bob.

That's terrible. I only met Bob once, when I was down in DC and had lunch with him, HopeJ, Daniel in MI and others. In that short time he impressed me as a heck of a nice guy. I have no doubt he will be sorely missed by many.
Just left Bruce a msg to call me back

Could always count on him to call me before getting to camp to see about getting on the links. Has been a good bud throughout the past 8 or so training camps and always had something interesting to say. Will sincerely miss him

Will someone post an address to which a card can be sent. Would appreciate it.

Just left a msg for Bruce to call me back when he can. Don't believe he has been on the board today.
I think we have all left Bruce messages

This is terrible news. Bob was always a warming and fine genmtelman. I remember the very first time I met BBIers at a game it was also the first time I brought my wife. She was very uncertain about meeting strangers I met on a message board.... Bob made a big impact on her , she was commenting the entire way home on what a sincerely nice man Bob was. RIP , this is saddening.

Warm thoughts to Linda and the other BBIers who met him and felt the same. Let me know where to send a card , donation to a foundation or anything needed to help.
Bob was True Blue and a classy guy

I have spent many hours hanging out with him at camp and at the stadium and he was a genuinely good man. I will miss him and we will toast his health and spirit at the game tomorrow.

RIP Bob!
Oh my God, Steve, this is a terrible shock

I am so upset to hear this!

Bob and Linda were so kind to me in 2003, helping me with a job search...showing me their hospitality in April 2004, when Larry and I stayed with them and attended your draft party!

Poor Bob and poor Linda. I'll check email for phone and contact info. This is such a terrible loss for Bob's family and especially Linda, who is such a kind, loving, generous person. I hope she has plenty of people around her now.

What a terrible, sad loss. Bob still had so much to look forward to. I can still see the inside of their lovely, inviting home...and their sweet kitties...as if it were yesterday.

Godspeed, Bob, and prayers love and hugs to Linda.
I never had the honor of meeting Bob

I got to meet Bob finally last year at the Eagles/Giants game and saw him at camp this year, it was like meeting an uncle I've known for years. Incredibly outgoing, warm and kind, I cannot imagine how much he will be missed by those who loved him.

Rest in Peace Bob
Condolences and prayers
