I'm a bit loaded right now to truly convey, but bottom line, we lost one of the good ones today.

Condolences and best wishes to his family, our meeting was brief, but it didn't take long to know he was a very good man.

Bob and Linda helped me make some connections to find a job down in DC when I thought about moving down here, and I will owe them for that forever. I'm sorry I never got to meet up with him, but he and Linda are A-1 class people in my book. I'm so sorry, Linda. Rest in peace, Bob.
I knew he was gonna pull something like this

it was his turn to buy dinner at camp next year.

Goodbye Bob...
My condolences to Bob's Family

Bob drove me to the first training camp I attended, going out of his way to pick me up from Manhattan so we could chew the fat on the way up. From reading this thread you can see that these acts of generosity were commonplace from Bob.

I don't know what to say, other than what's already been said, Bob was a wonderful man, fantastic company and he'll be missed greatly. My heart gopes out to his family.
RIP Bob

Bob and I met a couple of years ago at a pre-training camp bbq at Dog's house....
Britt in VA : 10/21/2007 9:11 am : link
we've hung out every training camp, and last year, he called me out of the blue and offered me a ticket to the Bear's game, making good on a promise he made me at training camp months earlier. We made the long trek from VA to NJ in about 4 hours that Sunday morning, and talked Giants and fishing the whole way. We got up there at about 9:30am, and tailgated all day up to kickoff at 8pm. Hell of a day (except for the outcome of the game). He was a hell of a guy, and one of the first people I ever met from BBI.

Godspeed Bob, send some wind and a couple of bounces our way buddy. R.I.P. my friend.
You will be missed.
