Bryan Kehl OLB BYU
Kehl didn't get much attention outside of the Mountain West Conference, but at 6-feet-2, 242 pounds, he is one of the draft's most versatile linebackers. Running in the mid 4.5s, Kehl was also impressive in the vertical jump (35 inches), short shuttle (4.18 seconds) and three-cone drill (6.54 seconds). Eighteen NFL clubs were present at his workout, including linebacker coaches from Carolina, Cincinnati, Jacksonville and St. Louis.

I know the Giants were there and according to Brandt "Giants LB coach Bill Sheridan has been out to see many of the top LB prospects around the country." I wonder if he was there? I haven't seen this kid play, seems like Rang is high on him and thats a good 3 cone. Anyone have an opinion?

If he's there in the 4th Round

and we haven't gone LB yet he'd be a great pickup. 4th Round has Ezra Butler another LB I like a lot. I think they are both good prospects.

is an excellent lb and would look good in Blue.

He should receive JR's consideration if he is still there from the fifth round on.
Marty I think kehl was a fifth rounder but he's moving up.

Late rounds are tougher to predict of course but I think he'd be gone by the time we pick in the fifth.
There will be plenty of

good olb's available to the Jints from the fifth round on. Not to worry. If not Kehl, maybe Keglar, maybe Guyton, maybe Vobora et al...
Draft is going to be fun for us this year it's deep

at positions we are looking at. DB's, LB and WR especially. Late round semi-sleeper I like is OLB Curtis Johnson. Small School guy (Clark Atlanta). At 6'2/245/4.65 he was his leagues DPY. His short area drills were excellent, he was highly productive and he's known as a big hitter.
moving up

Bryan Kehl, BYU
Height: 6-2. Weight: 242.
Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
Combine 40 Time: 4.64.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.56.
Benchx225: 26. Vertical 35.
Projected Round: 4-5.
Following a solid combine, Bryan Kehl dropped his 40 by close to .1 seconds, notching a 4.56 at his Pro Day.

Bryan Kehl looked solid at the combine; one of the NFL Network analysts compared him to Brady Poppinga. (who is that?)
