why on earth as a Giants fan would you want to relieve one of the greatest games in the history of the franchise and then discuss it on a Giants message board? I used to think you guys were classy.
When the giants are getting their asses handed to them next year. It would be sweet to see Seattle beat you guys in NY. The Giants are the luckiest team ever in all three games against dallas, us and the pats. The Pats just looked horrible. They just thought they didnt have to show up and they would win. If they thought different the pats would have won 50-0.

speaking to the original thread starter. That 1 yard run was huge in the game. Woodson (who by the way is one of my favorite NFL players) was CLEARLY not himself for the rest of the contest. You may call it a tackle... I call it Jacobs tripping on an unconcious body...

I knew from the get go that PB was a weird dude and very suspicious. There is no way some Packers fan goes on this site and praises the Giants that much, that just doesn't happen. A lot of people got on Adam in Dallas when he posted the poll on PB, he was right all along.
On a side note, this thread brings back memories of one of the greatest Giants games of all time, so I like that.

Anyway, looking at Jacobs' 5 yard run and finish by knocking Woodson into "tomorrowland" is actually a nice clip. Although Woodson did not actually fly right out of his shoes, he was damaged for the rest of the game. I wonder if he will play again in 2008 or realize that his NFL era has come and gone.
No it wasn't....the Pats for pretty much the whole season were bullies beating up on the league...then they met the NY Giants & instead of playing scared or getting caught up in the Pats heir of invincibility. The Giants in week 17 showed the Pats that they weren't afraid of them....then in the Super Bowl we turned into the bully. The Giants came out & hit the Pats back & the Pats couldn't do anything to stop it.
Whether you or anyone else likes us, our team or what we accomplished last season doesn't matter...we are still SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS & the media's favorite whipping boy Eli Manning is Super Bowl MVP. You can go back & watch tape of your Packers beating us early in the season or of any other Giants loss in their history, that won't change the fact that in the most important game of this season, the Super Bowl, WE WON. You, Bucs fans, Packer fans, Cowboys fans & Patriots fans can all sit and try to diminish or make excuses for that as much as you want....the final fact being that we beat all your asses, or should I say "Stomped You Out", on our way to becoming Champions of the World.
if for some reason the Giants end up being 0-16 in the 2008 season we would still have the fact to look back on that we went into Lambeau Field in extreme Green Bay weather & knocked your asses out of the playoffs with the longest post season FG in Lambeau history on our way to becoming Champions.
Winning nthe major award at the end of the season equates to "bragging rights". Ever heard that phrase before? We won it all, therefore we have the right to brag about it.
