On ESPN a few minutes ago..
No Strahan. Wtf?
Jordan, Phelps, Strahan, Johnson, Spinks....
He'd have to make the list.
is it a current list or all time?
was pretty damn good. One of the best catchers ever.
count as Mike...Since its the spanish version?
Also, that last response eliminates you from our game, but you do win a date with Stu.
what about Mikhail (Russian) or Michel (French)?
A forgot the other one
Modano, Mike Richter (homerism), Mike Singletary
Ditka belongs based on his playing career. Maybe Mike Webster on the football side as well.
no one can argue with #1. Jordan might be the best athlete ever with a name, any name. But Phelps is a great choice for #2.
honestly. This network supports car racing more than I could have ever imagined. I personally do not like car racing, and don't think its a sport, but ESPN does.
That said, how is Michael Schumacher not on the list (basing it on how much racing coverage ESPN gives)? He made almost $1 Billion in career earnings and is one of the best racers of all time.
Again, i'm not vouching for racing, im pointing out how hypocritical ESPN is.
Mike Matusow since he is an "athlete" and poker is a "sport" HAHA
Again, you've been eliminated from play...please pick up your gift bag and you voucher for "a date with Stu" on your way out.
excellent point...Schumacher has made more money than anyone including Tiger Woods in all of sports for a few years...and everyone outside of US knows of him
that ESPN spews their garbage out without thinking. Its like they put that piece together with a 5 minutes time limit. Whoever wrote that story/list should be fired.
Not in your lifetime buddy
Seriously. Who wasted their time on this crapola?
He still holds the world record in the 200 Meters in track and field and was unbeatable from 1993 to 2000 in the 400 meters and won two Olympic Gold medals in the 400m and is the only man to win it twice.
