After his blatant disrespect to callers by repeatedly hanging up on them and cutting them off, after so many tasteless Opie and Anthony-like comments on various subjects, I've had enough of this self-indulging slimeball on WFAN.

About 10% of the time that him and Boomer are on together can be considered quality sports talk, and its pretty sad that a good sports radio station is holding onto this guy in particular. When I drive to work in the morning I want to be engaged in what I'm listening to, and not appalled.

His TV appearance on Channel 11 last night was the order of discussion this morning, not any other sports-related stuff they could be talking about.

So, I put Mike & Mike back on this morning; pure sports talk radio with none of that shock jock crap that the other guy creates on his show on the FAN. Not a big improvement over Carton & Boomer, but certainly better.

I actually did have one experience with him personally related to football and all he did was try turn it into a sexually berating conversation on the notion that he was an intelligent stud.

He doesn't belong in the public arena in any capacity.

I did, however, get to listen (for the first time) to the first few minutes of the NFL channel on Sirius this morning. Real football talk! How refreshing compared to a lot of sports radio talk that is out there.

think they are the best show on the WFAN. I enjoy listening to them the for the 10 minutes that I am in the car every morning. Carton is pretty entertaining.

It didn't take me long to change the channel once he joined Essaison on WFAN. Mike & Mike, Imus, Bloomberg, hell even classical music on WQXR are superior choices to that schmuck.

thats the best show on WFAN. Him and Boomer are hilarious. I'm glad its less sports and more talking about random stuff. Mike and Mike is TERRIBLE. Talk about a stale show and two people that go out of their way not to offend anyone. yawn.

when carton does the boomer esiason item of the day (or is it of the week)? when he goes on ebay and locates some random boomer item (like a mug from when he was with the jets or some other piece of junk), notes that the starting bid is 2 cents, and proceeds to make fun of boomer about it for the next 15 mins. i found that enjoyable. does he still do that?

If you get the chance to listen to Sirius again, try to check out Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan�s show from 3:00-7:00 on weekdays. It�s unbelievably informative.

I find him funny and knowledgable about sports. I appreciate that some of you find him abbresive, but I think he plays a good contrarian role to Boomer.

In fact I drive into work some days just to listen to them, today would have been one had the Jets lost last night.

It's the truth, the guy is funny and knows what he is talking about. I understand that Yankee fans will likely really hate him, but I personally enjoy listening to him. I think they do really well in the ratings, so I don't think I am alone.

Yankee fans need to get past the fact that he is an obnoxious Mets fan and realize that he knows his stuff.

We should all e-mail the station to get rid of him.

Him being a Met fan isn't even in the equation for me(I actually forgot he was one until you reminded me).
I don't care if he is a fan a Satan the lord of Hell- he makes my ears cry. I don't think he is funny at all or entertaining. He's an asshole plain and simple..

and end up turning that show off most mornings when I'm in the car because he tries to fill the show with his gambling, sizing up women on the phone, and other general bullshit. I like Boomer and think he is a good sports-talk guy. I feel bad he is paired with such a moron. But, today, was the first time I liked Carton. He did a great impersonation of Mad Dog. Other than that 2 minute bit, though, same old moron, and the channel switched.
