I gave him an autograph (on a dirty NY Giants hat that he was wearing) but I couldn't pose for a picture with him because he was kinda creepy. I hope he didn't get me sick because he looked like he wasn't well and he kinda spit on me while he was rambling.

He said he'd been following my whole career from Tennessee to now and wished me good luck in Arizona. Abbey and I had a good laugh over that once security took care of him.

I haven't followed the whole thread, just the last page, but you should pick the school that you think will give you the best education and the best opportunities when you move on from it. All other considerations should take a back seat to that and should only serve as a tie-breaker in your decision.

I don't know anything about Yeshiva University, but if you want to pursue a career in business and you plan on living in the NYC area, it can't hurt to have the word "Yeshiva" on your resume. If you plan on living in Biloxi, Mississippi, it might not be as helpful.

My other advice is to load up on the math-oriented business classes like Finance, Accounting, and Economics; rather than the more concept-oriented classes like Marketing and Management. The concept-oriented classes are easier, but you don't really learn much that you couldn't figure out on your own, whereas the math-oriented classes will give you some real tools and will be valued more by companies that might give you your start.

Unless you want to go into sales.

I asked the GF not to come over, and watched it alone in my standard 92 home jersey and flannel pj's. One of my best memories ever. Of course my neighbors heard every scream.

Even if the Giants were to win the Super Bowl again this year... it would be absolutely unbelievable and I would LOVE every second of it... but the way last year happened, watching the playoffs unfold as the huge underdogs week after week and then capping it off by doing the unthinkable and completing the biggest upset in Super Bowl history... man, I don't think I'll have witness a moment in sports as incredible as that one for the rest of my life. I'd do anything to re-live it!

Also, I go to a very small school, the academic classes are atrocious but the school is absolutely terrific for me in terms of my major. Don't belittle yourself over going to a smaller or 'less prestigious' school; who cares.

And finally, I took a train back home to watch the Super Bowl with my father and it is one of the best moments I've ever witnessed. I was on the floor holding onto my dog as my heart almost literally stopped during 'the drive.' Nothing can ever top that playoff run and Super Bowl in terms of emotion after all the shit our team and us as fans have been through the past several years. It's so surreal, and going all the way again this year for a repeat is the only thing that can come close to it.

In some defense I would point out to you my post at 10:13PM...but it is a defense....in other words an excuse. These threads bother me...piling on is a personal foul. That was a dumb idea on my part.

Truth is folks will always isolate and rip the defenseless among them. Its a tactic that works for those who mask fragility with aggression...distracts the mob from oneself and literally feels good.

There was a kid called Martin who we all piled on in freshman year high school. Martin was smaller and rounder and softer and stuttered a bit and did awkward (but never obnoxious or rotten) things and his Mom picked him up from school when we all took the subway. It was funny, it was witty, the game was to be funnier than the next guy. Martin could not deal. So it got louder, more frequent and worse.
I was good at it. Verbal aggression came naturally. I had no conscience about it. After all I was "with" all the other guys.

Martin did not know what to do.

First day of sophmore year the Dean of Students came over the speaker system and told us that Martin solved the problem over the summer.



I am sure this is very different....but thats to Anak's credit...not ours.
