He was on 66th and Madison in some store called Judith Ripka. I got his autograph (I sacrificed my NY Giants hat that I was wearing) but I couldn't get a picture with him. I was such a geek and I might have gotten him sick because I've got a bit of a cold and I accidently spit on him while I was rambling.
I said I've been following his whole career from Ole Miss to now and I wished good luck in Arizona.
He's a very cool guy but very timid

when he signs
You can't find any SB swag he signed with his #. Its also next to impossible finding his photos with a signed #. I have looked repeatedly because i firmly believe those with his #'s are going to be worth quite a bit more then the ones without due to the scarcity
That was a dumb idea on my part.
Truth is folks will always isolate and rip the defenseless among them. Its a tactic that works for those who mask fragility with aggression...distracts the mob from oneself and literally feels good.
There was a kid called Martin who we all piled on in freshman year high school. Martin was smaller and rounder and softer and stuttered a bit and did awkward (but never obnoxious or rotten) things and his Mom picked him up from school when we all took the subway. It was funny, it was witty, the game was to be funnier than the next guy. Martin could not deal. So it got louder, more frequent and worse.
I was good at it. Verbal aggression came naturally. I had no conscience about it. After all I was "with" all the other guys.
Martin did not know what to do.
First day of sophmore year the Dean of Students came over the speaker system and told us that Martin solved the problem over the summer.
I am sure this is very different....but thats to Anak's credit...not ours.
Thanks for your post rptl...speaking out matters and calls us to account in ways that should make us better
Time to man up. Lots of apologies are in order.
welcome to reality. nice to have you with us.
For someone who has no problems whatsoever dishing it out, you seem to get offended easily.
That said: dupe.
Nor the point and intent of the poster to the community....nor the experience nor the self protective knowledge earned in life. Not the same. imho.
However, our own actions are in each case our responsibility
I looked up and said,"Eli Manning?!". He said,"Oops I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else."
Eff Beez! Eff Jake! and Eff Motley!
Who's next???
As adults with kids of our own within a few years of Anak...we do not belong talking on these threads at all?
My should have done better mistake to get involved...but the inconvience to what I should have done does not change the truth of the matter
And I am out of here...real work beckons
Remember, one very well respected poster, who allegedly actually sent gifts to other BBIers and was allegedly in a tailgate photo, then suddenly died and was mourned by many here - sincerely - in a Bob in Annapolis-fashion, was indeed a figment of one BBIer's imagination. A dupe.
I'm a skeptic.
Granted, I contribute to it, but ... in a more "normal" weird way.
:)
i call DIBS!
