I met Elisha Nelson Mannng IV tonight

Anak : 11/17/2008 8:40 pm
He was on 66th and Madison in some store called Judith Ripka. I got his autograph (I sacrificed my NY Giants hat that I was wearing) but I couldn't get a picture with him. I was such a geek and I might have gotten him sick because I've got a bit of a cold and I accidently spit on him while I was rambling.

I said I've been following his whole career from Ole Miss to now and I wished good luck in Arizona.

He's a very cool guy but very timid

Math is Hard
Dave in DC : 11/17/2008 10:09 pm : link
all those numbers and stuff....weird....like The Jake....only harder (if that's possible).
Anak, choose
Ash : 11/17/2008 10:09 pm : link
a skill and bust your ass at it. If you really love learning diversify and do as many different things as you can.

If you want to make money right away, specialize. If you want to be a lawyer and just want to go a direct route, take paper-writing classes and work really, really hard at fine-tuning arguments, structuring papers, etc.

If you want to do business, follow Milton's advice. He definitely knows what he's talking about.
Same here Dave

And you were right about the beginning of the thread. I am so tired on this version of BBI entertainment that I just wanted to get to the end of it once and for all. Doesn't matter to me if there is an Anak or not. Just wanted it to be over. At first it did not hang true for me because I know the place closes normal hours for the area. Either way, it struck me that he gave enough information that it could be verified once and for all.

After some thought....forget it...some folks will doubt it even if it can be easily verified Eli was there tonight.

In the end, I came back to the idea its not up to Anak to prove who he is....its up to us to act well or not.

So yes...I did take multiple views of it during the thread.

Now I wish I never posted. Got bored and got caught up. dumb on my part.

Anyway, thats over.

lets email and try to make this work

Good night all
Bill

How anyone was posting on fucking BBI during the SUPER BOWL when the Giants were in it. I mean, it's one thing to post on a game thread during a regular season 1pm game when it's generally too early to be out at a bar or in front of a big screen with a 12 pack (well, for me at least...)... but the Super Bowl?!?!

Holy hell.. if anything screams "get out of the house!!!" that is IT.
ill take credit

there were many, I hopped on like ten minutes after the clock hit zero
Haha LTS, that's not all
Anak : 11/17/2008 10:27 pm : link
I started following the draft in 2004 and I really wanted Eli. A year later, I wanted JJ Arrington (eh), Vincent Jackson (my sleeper), Kirk Morrison.

In 2006, I wanted Antonio Cromartie, Jimmy Williams, Jason Allen, Marcus McNeill...
thats a good point
RobNYG : 11/17/2008 10:29 pm : link
but i remember turing down a few super bowl parties to watch it in my house with my family for superstitious reasons. I also watch every game with my dad who is a big time BBI lurker, but refuses to make a handle.
Anak i sent you a friend request
RobNYG : 11/17/2008 10:29 pm : link
.
I wanted Eli the minute i found out
AgentZero : 11/17/2008 10:30 pm : link
Peyton had a brother. Hell I would have drafted Cooper with some hope we'd get Manning Magic.

arcarsenal : 11/17/2008 10:30 pm : link
Understandable to jump on BBI afterwards to throw in some sort of celebratory post... but I mean, there are fans who only get to see their team play in the big game ONCE or TWICE in their entire lives... and people were sitting with one hand on a mouse and the other on a keyboard while their team was playing? Haha. That is incredible to me...

That night was one of the best of my entire life, I'm glad I was with a ton of my Giant fan friends... what a celebration that was.
speaking of Eli manning, just for kicks
GMenLTS : 11/17/2008 10:30 pm : link
check out my man on third down this year. Fucking incredible.

For next year's draft
Anak : 11/17/2008 10:30 pm : link
My favorites are Aaron Curry, Brian Cushing (assuming he's 100% healthy and he's off the 'roids), Alex Boone, Phil Loadholt, Fili Moala, Sen'Derrick Marks, Ziggy Hood, BJ Raji, DeMarcus Granger, Terrence Cody, Brandon Spikes, Clint Sintim, Jermaine Grisham, Chase Coffman and Brandon Pettitgrew.
the best part of the chart is guessing what the

categories mean. lol

it was the best night of my life thus far, better than my state championship in hockey. and man was it needed after a shitty year personally
its weird to me too
AgentZero : 11/17/2008 10:33 pm : link
i turned down superbowl parties and watched the game solo. I was at a party during the Ravens debacle, and couldnt handle the criticism well, i didnt say anything but was exploding in my head.

I asked the GF not to come over, and watched it alone in my standard 92 home jersey and flannel pj's. One of my best memories ever. Of course my neighbors heard every scream.
Watched it with my roommates
Ash : 11/17/2008 10:34 pm : link
and blocking group. Best non-family event of my life. Amazing, amazing experience.

We ordered a ton of wings but I couldn't eat during the game because of how nervous I was.
LTS...
arcarsenal : 11/17/2008 10:35 pm : link
For sure. That unbelievable feeling of elation when the clock hit zero and I was surrounded by my best friends and a bar full of Giants fans flipping out and celebrating... I don't know if I'll ever have a moment of happiness that can emulate that... hell, I probably won't even be that happy when I get married! ;)

Even if the Giants were to win the Super Bowl again this year... it would be absolutely unbelievable and I would LOVE every second of it... but the way last year happened, watching the playoffs unfold as the huge underdogs week after week and then capping it off by doing the unthinkable and completing the biggest upset in Super Bowl history... man, I don't think I'll have witness a moment in sports as incredible as that one for the rest of my life. I'd do anything to re-live it!
with the fam minus one brother traveling for business
GMenLTS : 11/17/2008 10:36 pm : link
only thing that would have made it better would have been being there with everyone. the night was still incredible though
when I saw Plax and Eli crying
RobNYG : 11/17/2008 10:37 pm : link
thats when it really hit me.
Last year was great, but the second one I want more for
