Sean Peyton Dips in own Pocket for Gregg Williams

Boy Cord : 2/7/2010 11:03 am
To the tune of $250,000 to make up the difference in what Williams wanted and what the Saints were willing to pay. There is a man that knows what he wants and backs it the eff up. He said he was reimbursed when the Saints were around 9-0, but he took a hell of a risk.

So Jersey Joe, I guess the Giants aren't the only ones with "limits." :o)
Remarkable in this day and age.

Bravo to Payton. Wow. He's aggressive off the field too...

the Giants aren't the only 'cheap' (sometimes) ownership out there ;)
Maras got what they paid for

an inexperienced DC whose incompetence opened the floodgates and destroyed the season

If Giants had hired Greg Williams, they would be in the playoffs.

If there was ever a decision that was "pennywise, pound foolish," that was it. Maybe Mara should have looked in the mirror before going off on his rant.

Williams Monday and if so do the Saints try to keep him($$$)
or let him go like Giants did Spags?
Spagnolo came in 2007

and helped a huge amount with the Super Bowl season. Williams left the Skins after the 2007 season. The Giants could not have hired him unless they tossed Spags, who had just revived the D and took it to victory in SB XLII.

Uh your wrong, we could have hired him for this season. He signed with NO in 2009, when we hired Sheridan. So yes, we could have had him
