throw to Boss at the 15, instead of into the endzone...nice
cut him in the locker room
I may have offended Eli's BBI apologists
this is no playoff team. Looking at 8-8 again most likely
Hated that draft from the start.
This isn't Rutgers or UCONN its the NFL This team is shit from the top down
today ... Hooray!!!!!! Not!!!
when he doesn't have a free play. When there's nothing to lose, he risks a turnover with a three yard dump to a covered running back instead. Is Manning hitting the pipe before games or something?
At least we'll probably wind up with a new head coach. I'm voting for Cowher.
I expected this team to come out pissed and fired up and instead they came out rolling over...the offense is looking like the better of two units and they are down 5 starters...this is ridiculous.
He had 2 defenders in front of him, he needed to stop the cutback. Looking for stats?
He throws a TD pass and it gets called back.. he hits Hagan in the numbers at the 5 and it's dropped. Have a little realism in your criticisms.
the idiots here blaming Eli for this game.
Not that the defense, Hagan, or Boss came to play at all.
however, he did have Manningham wide open to at least put us in scoring position and he missed horribly. He misses a throw for points at least once each game. When we had third and 5 on the 10...he made a horrible decision to try and force it into Boss with double coverage. Lots if things that may not be so obvious. It is not always a missed throw, but often the throw he did not attempt.
D is playing shit, but if we had 21 it would be 21-17, not 17-9 down,, ridiculous,, even the coaches know hes a Goober,, running the ball in the red zone,, gimme a break
to a wide open Hagan was worse than the misfire to MM earlier. But criticizing his choices, how he reads the Ds, aligns the pass pro, looks over every option on almot every play when the primary reads doesn't break open as he expects - that is poor vision from the fans about what Eli does as well as anybody, including big brother.
I think I saw t least 3 plays where Eli's reads and probably adjustments against zone overload or max personnel blitzes by the Jags neutralized them completely, along with another read where the blitzer came unblocked but Eli got the ball off to his hot read (IIRC Boss) for a nice gain.
If you don't see that, I feel sorry for you, because you're missing what's good about Eli and indeed about TC's and Gilbride's offense, what's great about our OL, backs, and TEs as they participate in pass protection. Maybe I catch 1/3 of that execution by Eli and his team mates, and it's a lovely thing to see.
