I'm fine with Philly signing guys who can't play, no matter what they did for the Giants when they were healthy.

I trust whatever move the Giants make regarding Smith and Kiwanuka, because their value depends on medical information that the Giants are going to be more aware of than any other team out there is. Whatever move they make would be from a position of strength-- if another team outbids them, chances are that that team is underestimating the severity of the injury.
