NGT: My son went 9-13 for 160 yards and a touchdown

Shock Therapy : 9/28/2011 10:24 pm
in a game last week....he also ran for just under 100 yards. This is from a 4th grade QB :) The kid absolutely loves football. This is a great Fall so far, lol. I love watching kids his age play...it is so pure and untainted by the business aspect of the sport. He said he plans to play for Penn State or Syracuse....and then for the Giants of course :) Thats my boy! lol
Anyone else have a kid playing sports this Fall?

The coach doesnt give any blocking assignments, so I have to give pointers on assignment and technique.

Up and down so far. 18-6 Win, 0-22 loss.
Watch out, Schiano will offer him right now

and he is very good at it so football is constantly around Trevor.....so is lacrosse :) Most of the kids in our families play that as well. What is awesome is that my son has such ambition and has these dreams that he is determined to reach. I am a proud papa and uncle, that is for sure :)
My oldest (4) just started soccer this year

and he loves it! Having never played soccer(football and baseball growing up), I was pretty clueless on how to teach the fundamentals; but his coach seems pretty good, and the township brings in minor league players every week to teach different drills.

It's definitely a blast watching a pack of 8 little kids running around the field chasing the ball in one big cluster, haha. We plan on getting him in a tee ball league this spring, and next fall we'll give football a shot too. Me and the wife want to let him try all the big sports, and see what he likes best.

Plays QB we don't keep yardage and stuff but he threw 4 TDs in the opener then two more. Broke his toe playing barefoot tackle football with his friends in the schoolyard and we were shut out last week with him out after scoring 72 in the first two games. Have fun you have a lot of good years ahead.
