could have done the most to end the horror, in my opinion. Whatever you think of JoPa and his actions, McQ is 10x worse. If he actually saw the abuse happening, and then turned and walked away, without doing anything, that's big time bad.

He heard "rhythmic slapping sounds", went and saw the abuse happen, recognized it was a 10-yr old, and didn't do anything. Oh, wait, he called his dad, and they decided to call JoPa the next day.

How there are no criminal charges against this guy is beyond me. The Grand Jury seems to think pretty highly of him. Hard to believe.

He is going to be the star witness. He might already have a deal in place for all we know.

Do nothing..... He watched for 13 years as Sandusky was around the campus with no justice served. From what has been reported about McQueary's talk with his father, the father seems like he instilled no sense of courage in his son because it appeared that the father had none himself. How as a father does the elder McQueary not tell his son to go back and find the child and protect him? What a great family that is.

That is total BS. JS's crime came to light in 1998 and Joe JUST fired JS and did not turn him in and he also let him hang around the Penn State program, using it as a cover, to impress the little boys so he could abuse them. Joe knew of these crimes going back to at least 1998 and maybe sooner and did just enough to keep his ass out of jail, that's it. Joe was interested in protecting only himself and his football program.

Joe P should have had him arrested in 1998 and ended this long before McQueary entered the picture. Many, many kids were abused because Joe turned his back in 1998.

because JoePa knew of previous indicidents when MCQueary told about what he saw. McQueary was a coward but that is not what I blame him for. I get it sometimes people freeze and get the deer in the headlights look when they see something utterly shocking. He did inform everyone he had to except police. His BIG mistake that I blame him for completely is continuing to WORK at Penn State for all these years after that incident and seeing Sandusky still roaming around campus and doing nothing after that!

I don't agree but understand him freezing in the moment but if after a week, 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years you realize nothing has happened and this guy is still hanging around then at that point you have to go to a higher authority meaning police.
