How to watch NFL games without cable or satellite service?

JonnyR : 4/13/2012 1:34 pm
I'm thinking of cutting the cord and cancelling DirecTV after all 15 or so years.

I know I can't get NFL Sunday Ticket other than via DirectTV or PSN, but how do those of you who have cut the cord watch NFL games in general? Are there any good sources available via Roku or somewhere else that I can stream?

You can get all your local channels in HD with an over the air antenna.

I think the best way is to purchase a Sling Box and ask a friend nicely to install it in their home for you.

quality will be better. Still isn't a good way to get ESPN or NFL network games.

in my attic. I get a much better picture now than I did with DirectTV. I'm in NJ so I get all of the games on over the air TV. With the Roku I can watch just about everything I was watching before for free. It's nice not having to send DirectTV $110 a month!
I got a surprising number of Giants' games last season in MD

There were only 3-4 I had to watch online. That said, I expect to re-up with RedZone Channel this season.

saved a bundle, which I'll use to feed myself at a bar.

Also, so many games last year were on regular TV. I suspect the same will be so this season.
