to get a little sunshine at the end."
in comparison of now being with the Giants.
Giants = sunshine
The right quote, in the sense that it has some of the words, just exactly opposite.
Bennett, Weatherford, Rolle, Osi, even JPP
a dog's ass?
or are the cowboys the dog's ass?
he's already one of his favorite guys on the team and he just calls him the black unicorn, not even Bennett anymore. It was hilarious on Sunday when he caught the (then) go ahead TD, my son shouted out "The Black Unicorn!". My wife was horrified and I had to explain that Bennett gave himself that nickname.
When JPP speaks, I can only make about about half the words, but I know enough to be frightened.
passes and your quotes will really be funny. too many drops so far...i'd like to see a TE with sure hands....he hasnt shown it yet.
fatboy, Were you saying the same thing about Cruz after Game 1? Nobody is gonna catch every pass. Bennett has had some drops, he has also more than made up for it with some nice catches and tough running after the catch.
I remember something about sunshine and dog's asses
I'll cut him a little more slack than I will for Martellus Bennett, who still has a hell of a lot to prove.
Opal Fleener: Sun don't shine on the same dog's ass everyday, but, mister you ain't seen a ray of light since you got here..
Similar yet so different..MB is an artist..!!
During the first half Bennett dropped 2 TD passes. In the 4th QT he had his go ahead score. His weird metaphor is basically saying, I dropped 2 TD's in the first half then I caught the go ahead score in the 4th QT. Hes not referring to himself as a dogs ass. Just his missed chances. My coach, who was black, coached an all white team, he used that term all the time. Its like saying if you are playing well and have 2 drops, then have a big one at the end of the game. My coach would alwys say " keep on executing our gameplan and eventually the sun will shine" Why Bennett used a dog's ass, I have no idea, hes a character.
Your JPP post about being frightened ....
Hysterical. Made me laugh a lot.
It always amazes me how a guy can get the dropsies and Eli does not seem to hesitate to go right back to him. Hardly old school but effective, guys need their confidence.
"the sun shines even on a dog's ass sometimes" (or something to that effect)
same thing as saying, "Every now and then even a blind squirrel finds a nut."
and he caught a nice TD against his old mates. Perhaps he is smart enough to have his fun when the Giants win.
my 85 jersey. Unsure whether to put Bennett or Unicorn on the back, tho.
the first time I see that on a Giants jersey, I'll know it's a BBIer
