he's already one of his favorite guys on the team and he just calls him the black unicorn, not even Bennett anymore. It was hilarious on Sunday when he caught the (then) go ahead TD, my son shouted out "The Black Unicorn!". My wife was horrified and I had to explain that Bennett gave himself that nickname.

During the first half Bennett dropped 2 TD passes. In the 4th QT he had his go ahead score. His weird metaphor is basically saying, I dropped 2 TD's in the first half then I caught the go ahead score in the 4th QT. Hes not referring to himself as a dogs ass. Just his missed chances. My coach, who was black, coached an all white team, he used that term all the time. Its like saying if you are playing well and have 2 drops, then have a big one at the end of the game. My coach would alwys say " keep on executing our gameplan and eventually the sun will shine" Why Bennett used a dog's ass, I have no idea, hes a character.

It always amazes me how a guy can get the dropsies and Eli does not seem to hesitate to go right back to him. Hardly old school but effective, guys need their confidence.
