was the disgustingly pro-Griffin, pro-Shanahan, pro-Redskin, biased genuflection that I've ever heard. He's officially a non-person as far as I'm concerned. What a suck ass! The Redskins scored 17 points last night. The Giants win with a better snap from DeOssie. Having to listen to this jerk off last night was far worse than Aikman or Moose have ever been. Geez, use the Shout to get those grass stains off the knees of your pants, Chuckie. And, please, do sign up for your RG3 secret decoder ring, membership card and super hero comic book series. I would have thought Tirico would provide some balance-forget it.
I thought he was fair. At one point, he was all over BOTH the quarterbacks, saying they're highly talented, but do things vastly differently.
Griffin got the win.
Moving on.
Try to have a sense of balance, Gruden gushes about players every week. Griffin is a very exciting player, what's not to gush about?
This may go down as the greatest QB class ever!!!
Luck
Griffin
Wilson
Tannehill
Weeden
Foles?
This was a great crop of QBs.
The 04 class didn't play nearly this well as rookies.
Then there's the helmet to face on Nicks that looked like may have broken his nose.. Also uncalled. Say what you want, that game wasn't called evenly.
Whenever we gained momentum in the 2nd half
it was dashed away with a hanky .
From not showing key penalties ignoring blatant
pass interference .
Still in the end we score a couple of TD's
in the first half we should have won .
Bradshaw nearly had equal numbers running the ball .
The exception was the two big Runs Griffin broke
off . The ESPN telecast ignored the game to honor
Fletcher and Griffen . I did not think the Green Bay game could be topped .
Can't stand the sequence of TD-review(ads)-XP-more ads-KO-ads again-1D,2D-end of quarter (more ads)
It didn't get that bad last night.
That said, I hope Bob at least buys him breakfast this morning after the verbal BJ he got last night.
really freaking aggravated
ESPN is not interested in analysis, as some have said, they are interested in product enhancement. In other words, they have you and I locked into this as fans, why not go after the casual fan by talking up the game. By contrast, Dan Dierdorf doesn't bring the casual fan to the game with his grumpy analysis (and often wrong).
i was watching on the comcast streaming, which doesnt show commercials. so it pretty much broke down to 3 plays, 9 minutes of muzak, 2 plays, 9 minutes of muzak during review, etc. the game actually could have been over in 2 hours with the way both teams had loooong drives. ESPN gotta pay the bills i guess
Gruden is unlistenable.
Literally the only time ESPN comes on my tv is when the Giants are on and each time there's a "Christ, they got worse since last time..." moment.
I swear, Bob could have squatted at midfield and taken a steamy dump on 3rd down and Gruden would have praised it. ESPN just pushing the agenda as usual. HYPE HYPE HYPE and build the guy up to incredible and buzz generating heights. if he stays there, great, we build off that buzz and generate income. if he falters, even better as we can build off the fall, knock his ass down and generate even bigger buzz.
It's akin to marketing. Same fucking thing and it's insulting.
It's all bullshit. ESPN is the sports opiate for the masses. I fucking hate them.
