Here's my Giants salary cap blog

Optimus-NY : 5/7/2013 10:36 am
For those who are interested, I started a Giants salary cap blog yesterday titled "New York Giants Salary Cap Central" (see the link at the bottom of this post).

Discussing the salary cap this off-season has become something of a cottage industry for me here on BBI, so I started this blog yesterday. This way if people have any questions that are repetitive--as they often are--I can just refer people to my Giants salary cap blog.

Feel free to subscribe and offer suggestions of what you'd like to see. If you have formatting suggestions for the blog, please let me know those as well.

Nice Job!

Just remember one thing as the year goes on -- usually draft picks 3-7 have splits in the first two years of their contracts. Same holds true for UDFAs. The splits will vary according to player, but it's designed to lower their cap number if they end up on IR.
Thanks Pattie.

Appreciate the input. I'm gonna have to definitely continue to go to school on things like you just mentioned (I'll hit up Jason_OTC on twitter and via e-mail for more cap questions). The more I learn, the more I find out that there is to learn. It's crazy, but fun.
Nice work

Thanks for the plug on your site -- much appreciated.

Yeah, this cap is pretty fascinating and complex. I'm still learning new things about it which, as a result, have brought my numbers closer in line with what the NFLPA has been posting. Never too old to learn something new, I guess. :)

No thanks necessary for the plug. Good work is good work and should be shared (or plugged, lol).

I doubt any other fan site will knock something down like that.

Good luck.
