nice, this should be another great Q&A

1. You have seen a lot during your career in the NFL...what are some of the funniest locker room moments you can share? (pranks, incidents or speeches)?

2. Who was the best coach you played under and why? If it was Coughlin, what made him standout?

3. What is your opinion on Matt Dodge and Steve Weatherford?
Here are few:

1)How did you get so good at the Coffin Corner kicks? Was there someone specific that taught you how to be so efficient at it?

2)What organization did you play for that you felt like had the most class? What was it like coming from a franchise like Seattle with not a very long history, to the Giants?
Here are mine

1) What is the funniest thing that you have ever seen happen in a huddle?

2) Which is more satisfying, getting off a nice punt from your own end zone, or nailing one on the opponents one yard line?
having been on both sides of the Giants-Eagles rivalry.....

Beat me to it.

My alternative question would be what was the highest pressure punt Feagles ever had to attempt?

very good teams, and some very bad ones. Is it sometimes better for a Punter to play on a team with a bad offense, meaning you'll get a lot more work? Or is it strictly a quality over quantity thing?
My question regards

The ear plugs. Has he ever kicked without them, and if so, what was the inspiration behind them? Is it something that every kicker should try at least once?

Once you knew that you had become one of the premier punters in the league, what kind of training/motivation tactics did you use to allow yourself to continue to perform at a high level?
Punters are usually the first line of defense on punt returns

(e.g. directional kicking) and in some cases, the last line of defense. Can you recall for us your most satisfying tackle of a punter returner (if any)? Also, walk us through your thought process as the returner is barreling toward you.

how would you balance helping rookies and protecting your roster spot?

After working with Bryan Anger of the Jaguars briefly last summer, have you done any other "freelance punting consulting"? Have you caught the coaching bug?

Did Plax ever pay you back on the grill in exchange for #17 yet?

what sort of adjustments did you make punting in the old Giants Stadium? How would you generally factor the weather into your planning, preparation or techniques for punting?

punters are sometimes treated as valuable and respected teammates that can impact the game and othertimes looked at with mockery and disdain by some coaches or other players who make the risky "physical plays".....can you talk about your experiences generally as to situations where you felt most respected or least respected and if you are willing, any specific players or coaches who stood out in extremes in that regard?

The Buffalo rain/sleet/snow game
Buzzard : 7/8/2013 3:28 pm : link
I was there and loved every minute of that game. I noticed a momentum shift in the game that no one else seems to talk about, and thus this question.

On one of your second half punts, you were leveled by a wicked hard hit, and were down on the turf for some time. Flags flew. It seemed like a turning point to me in that game as Buffalo had brought the nasty to our senior player.

From that moment onward, IMO, your team mates ratcheted up their hitting, and pounded the Buffalo team. A tit for a tat. Youre gonna hit our senior punter? We can bring it too. The intensity level scaled up dramatically, you could hear the pads popping way up in the stands.

Is this accurate? Any comment on that play and its effect on the game? Thanks!

Questions for Feags
FranknWeezer : 7/9/2013 12:17 pm : link
1. What do you make of the old barefoot punters and kickers? Have you ever seriously tried to punt barefooted? Ever tried it in the cold? I have, and that crap hurts! How in the world did Mike Horan and those guys pull it off without hurting their feet, and then how the hell did they run downfield with one shoe and attempt to tackle a returner?!

2. Does it bother you that one of the longest recorded punts was kicked by a QB, Randall Cunningham?

3. Just a note- Giants fans certainly endeared themselves to you over time, but it was tough for me at first, having grown up seeing your name on Tecmo Bowl rhyming with your then team moniker (which I won't name here). Thanks for all you did for the NYG's!
Why don't we see NFL specialists
PeterS : 7/9/2013 1:18 pm : link
who can both punt and kick? A few years ago there were 3 or 4 draft prospects who were among NCAA leaders in both. I would think that with the salary cap this would be appealing to a team. Thanks!
Punt
Simms : 7/9/2013 3:19 pm : link
Over the years how do you think punters have changed the NFL for the better or worse ?

If you were to start all over again as a punter what things would you have done differently ? Any regrets ?

Besides the Giants what modern team these days would have liked to play for if you were a rookie ?

I heard you traded your number to Eli for a family vacation, to want extremes have others traded numbers ? Curious how did Eli approach you over the Jersey ?
