As a reminder, today is autograph day, so bring the kids and bring something to be signed.
Okay, so as far as things go, it isn't Albany. It never will be. You are not on a charming college campus, you are at a facility surrounded by parking lot. That said, they have improved over accommodations from 2011.
The bleachers are now covered so you are comfortably shaded. The bleachers themselves may be higher, I honestly can't recall. When they are on the near field the views can be excellent from the bleachers. You are close enough to yell to the players at times and occasionally get a response. Yesterday unfortunately the did the team action on a far field so it was hard to see, but judging from 2011 I am assuming this won't be often.
They had security who run you through metal detectors when you enter. They did let the guy in the Eagles jersey come in yesterday though, so I am assuming all of this is only for show.
In the back they have a vendor area where you can buy your Giants' gear and have added a kids area where it looked like they had blow up bounce house like activities. I think they had them lining up to run and make diving catches onto the inflatables. It appeared supervised and I wasn't sure if they watch your kids for you or if you need to stay. I sort of think the prior, but am not sure.
Food-wise, they have a food truck where you can get a hotdog or sausage sandwich which seemed expensive, but adequate, and guys coming around selling drinks and snacks. You have to check on the tailgate situation in the lots prior. Judging from the grounds I would guess you can, but on this I am not sure and would suggest you call if you are looking to.
Maybe the Eagles fan wanted to see how a professional camp is conducted?
But I think I understand what you are trying to say...
