It sounds like Snee is going to be the first one back.
I don't know if they are managing expectations with JPP or not. Coughlin seemed more optimistic yesterday than JPP did.
Coughlin's comments on Thomas sounded ominous. Three ACL's is tough to come back from.
I don't know what to think about Hynoski. That injury sounded real ugly. Can he come back and take hits on that knee so soon?
Do they try stash Kuhn on IR or the regular-season PUP? I think they like him, but with the competition and time he's missed, does he really have a chance this year?
We can live without everyoe on that list except JPP.
i think hynoski could be as big a concern as jpp
the giants do have some options at DE they could play moore, kiwi, tuck and even use jenkins or joesph there at a pinch
but hynoski is the ONLY FB they have they are going to have to play a TE out of position (pascoe)and throw some chip blocks with running backs and other TE's to cover unless they sign another FB before the season starts which would likely mean the team doesnt expect hynoski to return this season if they do
Rightly so. He's a young star with an injury that could be career altering... or not. While the other four DEs are good enough to hold the fort, a healthy JPP takes the defensive line to a different level.
Snee is a very good player, but he's on the back nine of his career even if the hip heals up like new. With Thomas, the Giants are playing with house money: anything they get from him is a bonus. Hynoski and Kuhn? Replaceable role players, though they will miss HH in the near term if the knee sidelines him.

Snee is just taking it easy for a week. Hyno will be back early in the season and there is no room for Kuhn on the DL.
JPP is the only one that concerns me.
