Possible Waiver Wire Pickup - MLB Allen Bradford (Seahawks)

Scott in Seattle : 8/30/2013 1:14 am
This guy may very well be cut due to a lot of linebacker depth on the Hawks, but he's been really just been playing lights-out at middle linebacker all preseason. He was all over the field tonight against the Raiders, looking very instinctual, running step for step with backs and tight ends, and hitting like a mack truck. He looked better than any backer on our roster.
i'm all for it

He was a RB at USC a few years back, right?
Bradford

Was the top HS linebacker in the country but Carroll thought he would be a better running back. Bradford is tough and aggressive. He would be a big upgrade over Herzlich for sure.
Can't be

Any worse.
sounds intriguing

But I'd bet good money that this doesn't happen.
Really the Giants should be standing right next to the Hawks facility

on cut day to take one of their LBs. While Pete and the boys should be waiting for one of the Giants DTs to shake out.
I would take

Safety Amari Spievey of the Lions.
Sunday after noon we'll find out who was claimed by who

Remember that the waiver order is based on last year's order of finish, with the Ravens having the last shot to claim players since they won the Super Bowl, and the either the Chiefs or Jaguars having the first shot to claim players since one of them had the worst record in football.

do they go to the back of the line or do they maintain their current position..?
Mason....

...if that is the case, it would make sense for both teams to trade the Best DT that will not make the Giants for the best LBer that will not make the Seahawks. No need to mess withy waiver wire and neither team loses anything.
Trade DT debt

Get on the phone and offer one of young DE's (Trattou, Ojomo, Tracy) that will probably be cut or Paterson
almost any LB from almost any team would be an upgrade
Greg from LI : 8/30/2013 10:07 am : link
That's how unrelentingly awful our LBs are
