He didn't touch him, and it cost ND at least 4 points.
They don't get any worse then that.
If it happened to the Giants, your useless ass would be bitching about it just like the rest of us.
The next thing you ever add to BBI will be the first, the only thing your pathetic ass does is follow Stan or other people around and try to mock them.
You're a fucking shit stain. Bring something to the table or get lost
complained about one call, which was a horrific one. He wasnt blaming the officials for the loss, but Section125 sure did.
Mook, I dont know if you saw a replay, but Herbstreit did say when they replayed it back that he didnt understand why it was called. He mentione something about how officials say both get a chance at the ball and pushing back and forth is allowed. So at least Herbstreit called it out.
that play happens tomorrow and it goes against the Giants but they still somehow win, just so i can see a hypocrite like yourself go crazy about it.
Michigan fans never complain about officials, except when they lose.
And that was my only gripe with the officials all night, but it directly cost them at least 4 points and a shot to win it. Any fan of Notre Dame should bitch about that. That play effectively ended the game
Why retire a number if you're only going to unretire it down the road. Not only that but you unretire it for a less than remarkable player. Strange if you ask me.
I didn't blame the PI for the loss. I just said it gave Michigan an extra opportunity that they should not have had to get that last TD. Nothing guaranteed that Rees could get a TD after that.
again, please go through these games, and tell me the great home win for Michigan. The best team they played wound up with 4 losses that year.
It's impressive, but people are acting like he's won 16 games at home against great competition. The Big 10 has sucked, they haven't played Wisconsin in those 2 years, they haven't played Penn State. Ohio State wasn't even .500 when they beat them
If you want to have a legitimate discussion, I'm all ears. But since you have no comeback when I say their home schedule has been a joke, you just choose to mock.
Which one of these games was an impressive win? I'm all ears. Let's hear it.
Michigan's home wins in 2011 were against teams that finished with the following records:
Western Michigan (7-6)
Notre Dame (8-5)
Eastern Michigan (6-6)
San Diego State (8-5)
Minnesota (3-9)
Purdue (7-6)
Nebraska (9-4)
Ohio State (6-7)
Nebraska is the only team that finished the season ranked (24).
Michigan's home wins in 2012 were against teams that finished with the following records:
Air Force (6-7)
UMass (1-11)
Illinois (2-10)
Michigan State (7-6)
Northwestern (10-3)
Iowa (4-8)
but as with all streaks, look at how they came about. The only game they weren't favored in in that stretch was the ND game in 2011 and that ND team wound up being thoroughly mediocre with 5 losses.
Good win. Would like to see Gardner keep the ball rolling and build momentum off of this. Finally Hoke is even closer to washing away the shitstain Rich Rods remnants.
It will quickly be forgotten by everyone except for some diehards on one side like every other missed call in a regular season game that has ever happened ever.
I don't have any doubt who is actually the better team, Michigan is better than Notre Dame. The gap at QB is so wide that it's tough to make up. They were better during this game and deserved to win.
I just wish Notre Dame at least got a shot to see if they could tie (or win) it after the field goal attempt. I hate when refs make themselves part of the game, and that ref did. I didn't have any complaints about the officials all night, there were some questionable plays on both sides but nothing terrible.
if you're going to talk about the game, you have to talk about that play.
Game changing plays should be highlighted during the highlights. They purposely did not do that. What's the point of highlights if you're going to leave out the biggest play in the entire game? If that's the case just throw up the score and move on
None of the Michigan fans in here even mentioned the streak. Its college football and upsets happen all the time, i think us Mich fans know(app state
We get it, you hate Michigan and will take a chance to take a shot at them anyway possible.
As far as the refs, everyone one of us Mich fans agreed it was a terrible call. ND could've stepped up but they didnt afterwards. Yes it stinks for your team that it happened at a crucial time but its football and the calls are gonna bite someone in the ass.
you guys have a good night. Better team won. Can only just hope ND can get through this final season with Rees at 9-3 or so and get Golson back next year. Go Irish
Notre Dame looked like a poorly coached defensive team.
There was very little containment, several completely blown coverages, and the final play from scrimmage (Gardner scramble) was mindblowing stupidity.
The PI call on Bennett was dogshit and might've changed the outcome of the game. It is what it is.
Tommy Rees was basically no different than the last time ND played in Ann Arbor... good play mixed with horrific turnovers. He doesn't make those turnovers and they might win both games.
And that INT will seal it for Michigan
Good game, shame it ended this way but what can ya do.
And that was defensive interference, too. But I guess those are only called against ND
They may not have won, but they were robbed of a chance, and that is a disgrace.
Officials never have to answer to shit like that, I just don't know how they keep their jobs when they clearly can't handle what they're doing
Blame the officials all you want, but they called ONE penalty on ND all game, and even Mook said they were fair all game. Quit crying.
Rees does them in again.
Michigan and ND's defense did not play well. Michigan's offense made more plays because they have a far better QB
LMAO!!!
Musberger for some unknown reason has acted like that PI play never even happened.
How could ESPN cover the game and not make that play a big deal? It took any chance for ND to win away
Michigan sets an NCAA record with highest attendance in a single game.
Where's the National Title game being played?
HAIL

I was also surprised Funchess had yet another quiet game.

It was the biggest fucking play of the game as far as the outcome and they act like it was a 2nd and 5 play that had no impact.
Michigan football is on its way back.
What a piece of shit network.

It wasn't a play in the 2nd quarter where the officials missed a holding call.
It ended the game. It was the biggest play of the game without question.
The PI call on Bennett was dogshit and might've changed the outcome of the game. It is what it is.
