Patriots at Bills
Titans at Steelers
Falcons at Saints
Buccaneers at Jets
Chiefs at Jaguars
Seahawks at Panthers
Bengals at Bears
Dolphins at Browns
Vikings at Lions
Raiders at Colts
I like when the Bills do well. It just makes it a nicer place to live. Bills fans are not like Cowboys fans or Redskins fans. They have a serious inferiority complex.
I think the Pats will win but I think Spiller has a chance at putting up some great, perhaps historic, numbers this season.
I am not putting him in Canton yet but when healthy he is a poor man's Marshall Faulk.
Spiller will be a major, major disappointment this year. That O is horrible and teams will stack the line. In addition, he is not built for the pounding as the focal point of a weak O.
Also he found out that Sanchez dislocated his shoulder against us and that he already had a partially torn labrum (in the shoulder) well before this year, coming into 2013
see the safety on the opening kickoff in the Steelers Titans game? Wow. Steelers kickoff, and Reynaud for the Titans takes a knee right at the goal line. But his toe is in the field of play and he pulls the ball back into the end zone.
Safety. On the opening kickoff. Has that ever happened before?
There's gonna be a Kenbrell Thompkins coming out party at some pt.
starts the Saints season in douche fashion. Catches a 15 yarder for a first down and gets up and does an emphatic 1st down sign. Saints will be trying to embarrass people all year I think.
The Giants mistake was only giving him 1 year to begin with. They could have had him for less than what he got if they had given him a few more years off the bat.
fumbles for the Steelers inside the ten. Titans recover in the end zone for a touchback. We're spending a lot of time in the Titans' end zone in this game with no TDs.
If they're having this much trouble against the lowly Jets what's going to happen when they have to play ATL, NO, CAR? Schiano is also a terrible coach; they could be 5-11 or worse
Luck is in a class of his own regarding all the young guys. He's quite better than Peyton was at game 17. Not saying he'll be as good, but he certainly looks like he can be. Add in the fact that he's mobile and durable and I think he's the perfect NFL QB.
But the mediocrity or worse will continue as long as they have crap at QB as they have forever. Richardsons and Taylors and Hadens aren't going to change that.
Luckily for them next year's QB class is pretty deep.
he'll be out atleast a couple weeks. Edelman will be the #1 waiver pick up if that's the case. He's shiftier than Edelman anyway, just not as big; i think he has some work ethic problems in the past too. This would be his golden opportunity.
Sanchez may have a tear in his shoulder. That's a blessing for that front office if true. Sanchez may collect that $12 million on IR and be a career back up the rest of his time in the NFL where he won't suffer any big injuries. Pretty sweet deal.
New York Giants[edit source | editbeta]
Chandler was signed off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad by the New York Giants on December 22, 2009. He was waived by the Giants on September 4, 2010.
Second stint with Dallas Cowboys[edit source | editbeta]
After being waived by New York, Chandler was re-signed to the Cowboys' practice squad. On September 24, 2010, Chandler was signed to the Cowboys active roster. He was cut on December 1, 2010.
Buffalo Bills[edit source | editbeta]
After being waived by Dallas, Chandler was signed by the Buffalo Bills on December 2, 2010.
On September 11, 2011, Chandler made his first career start against the Kansas City Chiefs, recording 5 catches for 63 yards and 2 touchdowns.
I'm watching the Jags. Now THAT is a baaaaad Offence. Just brutal to watch Blaine Gabbert pretend to know what he's doing, and no one can block or catch. It's really quite something.
Steelers are bad, but the Titans aren't much better. The Steelers just lost Stephens-Howling for the game. They have already lost Pouncey. Pittsburgh had four consecutive drives where they gained a combined total of two yards.
to his NFL career, IMO. That offense leaves a lot to be desired and I don't know how many seasons he can take a pounding for before he's too injured to have an affective career.
drafted Vereen in a 10 team PPR league. I picked him up on Wednesday. Have Jamaal Charles & CJ2K at RB. Started Vereen at Flex over MJD. Working out good so far.
I have AP, Mendenhall (starting), Vereen (flex), Pierce, Moreno, Hilmann. Its guys like Vereen that keep me from forcing a RB pick too early. So many of the top RB's are going to suck this year.
he was running for his life most of the day. Making plays, but running for his life nonetheless. A less mobile guy like Flynn will get killed behind that O-line
Bills would be better just letting them score at this point
With running QB's, I hate the call on the sideline where you don't know if he's going out of bounds or not. He gave him a little push...it wasn't like he slugged him OOB...
should know that, but by definition it was not a late hit. It can't be a late hit if he's still in bounds when you hit him. Don't know how that's debatable.
but if the Buc hugs him and holds him up, I would think no penalty, but the shove to the ground where he can clearly "act it up" a bit will always get a penalty there.
but refs will call that to protect QBs. Lavonte David made a more stupid play by even thinking about hitting him there, knowing that he's going to go out of bounds at the Tampa 45 with almost no time left
even if he was the worlds greatest contortionist? They had no time outs. Where was he going to run to ? The only realistic shot the Jets had was given to them. If one of our guys did that, he would be held in the same regard as Ray Handley
Since there's no way that foot was landing anywhere but out of bounds
Why would he have tried to stay in bounds

This is not relevant. It is not the job of the officials to judge strategy.
you guys are insane. there is no way in a split second to pull up. his foot has not yet touched at out bounds. it was a ridiculous call exacerbated by the time of the game.
if I was a Jet fan, I would want that call. The standard is not what a fan wants, but if you are going to make a call like that, you better be right. And, Smith was not out of bounds when he began contact, his foot was still in the air. He jut finished the shove. Ridiculous call.
and just because the call is made at other times, doesn't mean it is the right call. When you make a call that will take a team from definitely losing a game (absent a hail mary) to having a good chance to win it, you better be sure you have lived up to the letter of the rule. They did not, as i understand it, because he was not out of bounds yet when the contact ensued. And, of course, a shove cannot be called unnecessary roughness.
The burden is on the player not to give a ref a reason to throw a
Several games to watch for scouting purposes also. Will keep an eye on Carolina, Chicago and Minnesota.

Nice.
I hope this Jets game is as hilarious as I expect it to be.
former Giant, Darius Reynaud, starts the Titans season by taking a knee in the endzone after picking up the ball outside of the end zone.
so the Steelers start both halves with the ball and get 2 points for their troubles
Safety. On the opening kickoff. Has that ever happened before?
seriously, imagine waiting 8 months for.... that.
TD Pats to Edelman
TD Ryan to Gonzo
great catch by Megatron but c'mon.
In that context, good riddance to Martellus.
More lulz for Tampa, they botch a snap and Freeman has to kick it out of the end zone for a safety
oh well. I have full confidence Eli will make Myers into a great pass catching TE. MB's run-blocking will definitely be missed.
Ryan slides and Vaccaro elbows him in the ribs
anything is possible
3 runs
Things never change.
I don't know if any color looks good on him, but bright red sure as hell doesn't
They are running a real option, they kind of have to because they can't throw the ball at all. But he is talented with the ball. He's huge.
Luckily for them next year's QB class is pretty deep.
This league is for pussies.
Smith took a 17 yard sack
that cross-country travel.
Now I get there's no place for ufc after the play, but pretty lame and hurts the game more than judgment calls for safety during the play.
They should win 9 or 10 games, IMO.
That was an easy call.
The sideline pass was a veteran toss also.
Jets: Stick with this kid.
Colts OL is brutal.

I think Polamalu might know the snap count
.
Steelers offense has been pathetic. They got spotted 2 points, got the ball to start both halves and still haven't scored.
just, no.
detroit looks dangerous but I always question when their defense will implode and/or when does stafford get hurt
wasted around 10 seconds for no reason
the Bucs outtarded the Jets
48 yarder is good!
Fucking stupid thing to do by Davis.
They always have and always will protect the QB though and the LB has to know that
You shouldn't be penalized for hitting the guy with the ball before he touches out of bounds.
My day is made!
I'm actually happy they won. Their D and DL, in particular, is fun to watch. Offense blows but I'm envious of their Defense.
We've seen guys act like they're going out of bounds and not.
I don't have a problem with the call because they ALWAYS call it. So the players should know this.
But again, by definition, you have to actually be out of bounds for it to be a late hit. No part of his body touched out of bounds yet when he was hit
it was stupid. and if he doesn't shove Smith they can't kick. would have been from 63
In any case. rational Giants fans are pleased with the result.

You can bash Rex for a lot of shit, but his teams can play D
Especially early-season when the Refs are over-emphasising the rules like they usually do.
If you know the league is out to protect quarterbacks, don't hit one heading out of bounds.
Thanks for proving there is a dumber coaching philosophy than Ryan's ... or even the opposite style - Fassel's ...
