are underrated teams. Unfortunately their record won't reflect it because they play in a very tough division.
I think Bradford has a big year. I could also see Fitz having one of his biggest years. Not necessarily because of Palmer coming in (although that is a HUGE upgrade) but look at what Reggie Wayne did in under Bruce Arian's offense.
are building up that team. They are mostly building through the draft while adding a few centerpieces like Jake Long through free agency. Their DL is young and maybe a top 3 DL this season with Quinn, Long, Brockers, and the very underrated Langford. They also have two talented young CB's in Jenkins and Johnson. Whether they can take that next step up and become a playoff contender next year comes down to whether or not Bradford can pick up his game and play to his potential.
On offense they are loaded with young talent with Austin, Quick, Givens, Bailey, Cook, and Kendricks. I think this year is too soon for them to contend for a playoff spot especially playing in a division with the Seahawks and 49ers. Once the top two teams have to deal with contract extensions with their young star QB's that should even the playing field a bit. I think the Rams will be 7-9 or 8-8 this year.
Bay should bench Matthews for the 3rd quarter. Once they see the tape of that play at halftime, there's no way that they're going to be able to defend what their guy did there.
Staley when Matthews had a hold of his face mask. Should have been Unnecessary Roughness on Matthews and offsetting penalties on Staley/Matthews AFTER the play
That should have been a roughing on Matthews which would yield 49ers a 1st down and then a DEAD ball personal foul and Staley making it 1st and 15 for the 49ers instead of the shitty off setting crap.
As long as you leave your feet before the guy's foot lands out of bounds, it is okay to slam him into the ground as hard as you can. No matter how far out of the field of play you are.
Referees can't even get rules correct in the NFL, but yeah, why should anyone complain about these clowns! Potentially cost the Packers 4 points if not more
I'd probably turn this 49ers game off, I have Rams on 2nd tv already. Every 5 seconds there's a penalty, officials that don't know basic NFL rules, sloppy shit
kaepernick has been scrambling for his life rather than running wild. both running games look non-existent, and is lacy going to touch the ball again after his fumble?
Luck: Jermichael Finley drops balls vs Giants in 2011 playoffs. Obviously the Giants were the beneficiary of luck that they did not deserve and should have just forfeited the game once the Packers were dropping balls since it just wasn't fair. The Packers were forced to have an inopportune bye week and it clearly cost them
Skill: Jermichael Finley drops a pass which is intercepted by the 49ers. This is obviously a case of skill by the superior 49ers as Finley was so scared of being hit by the 49ers that he purposely dropped the ball when he heard footsteps so as not to get hit. Great job 49ers. They obviously should be retroactively awarded super bowls 46 and 47 since they clearly deserved to win both games.
With all the hits Boldin takes/has taken in his career, at his age, no telling how long his will hold up. Guess they just want to pass the risk to another team
The Packers have been eating some bad calls since the debacle against the Giants regular season game in 2011. And in those playoffs. That regular season game was the worst officiating I've ever seen.
Hell of a debut so far for Eric Reid. Nice open field tackle there on one of the most dangerous space players in the league on third down to force a punt.
putting on a clinic. The SF offense is scary good and GB is playing a hell of a game too. Both of these teams will be extremely hard to beat- well balanced on both sides of the ball.
if the official calls that obvious hold on Matthews, it would have saved GB 40 seconds and given Rodgers over 1 minute left. May not seem like much, but 40 seconds is a lot.
admire the way the Packers hung in and fought back, we'll see
(As to Giants' rookies, except for the 1s and occasionally the 2s, maybe they don't play because they can't play. GB's 4th rounder starts vs Aldon Smith. Last time a Giant OL rookie drafted below 1 to start, DD

This drive
2 runs 0 passes - holding and lost fumble.
and we got a brawl
dumb ass NFL boneheads.
Matthews might tackle Caepernick on the bench.
who is the moron wearing the crown? good job by security letting him on the field
Field (and sidelines) full of assholes.
Mike in Philly : 5:20 pm
should be ejected for that.
If a deliberate illegal out of bounds hit like that doesn't draw a justified ejection, what does?
What a fookin tool Matthews is.

I hope this helps!
Run, run, 2 yard throw. You cant run, why even try to bother with it?
lol, wow.
5 runs out of first 6 plays. This is just stupid.
Bill Levy does not deserve to be an NFL official if he can't enforce simple rules properly. Cost Packers minimum 4 points
Not impressed with 49ers defense today, the Packers made some nice plays
if he doesn't... Well, no ones perfect.
