Hopefully we use this week to right the ship and get a winning streak going! I understand Carolina's got major injury concerns in the secondary and it should be exploited by our plethora of WRs, but how much do you think we use this week to get the running game going? I'm hoping Carolina has to play with soft coverages to compensate for their weak secondary and that opens things up for the running game. The blocking obviously has to be better, but with what we have this year, we need that running game to at least be a threat.
1-10 - incomplete deep ball
2-10 - run that gets stopped because the line can't block anyone
3-10 - 7 yard pass
4-3 punt
Andre ran for over a hundred yards ... and
Ramses Barden caught a bunch of passes.
it will be the wrong game plan

I don't mind sticking to the run when you are getting 2 yards here, 3 yards there. You can grind it out and stick with that type of running game until things open up. The problem is, we are getting stuffed at the line or for losses far too often. Those are wasted or harmful plays and they kill drives.
But there are ways to get Wilson involved.
hes our jason witten... only worse
Tripping over his own feet, missing a catch at the goal line, not to mention his pathetic blocking abilities....
He has to play better than this....he has to be that guy Eli looks for when the wr's are covered.....all Whitten does is run at linebackers/coverage, and he breaks for the opening in the coverage.....it is simple in theory, but he seems to do it best...
He will never be a solid blocker....Beckum was a better blocker....he couldn't manhandle guys, but he would stay engaged with his guy, and guide him away from Eli....all we can hope he can do is, chip block guys effectively....
There are guys who are stat machines and the there are guys who are playahs.... hope he is the latter of the two...
