I'm thinking of great momemts in Giants history as captured by the Giants radio announcers or the TV announcers (for TV, I can only think of Pat Summerall).
One was Jim Gordon saying something to the effect that winning the Superbowl (or maybe going to the Superbowl) was something that Giants fans thought they'd never see. It encapsulated all those frustrations of the 70's.
The other is Dick Lynch yelling "GOOD" right before Bob Papa gives the good news about the Lawrence Tynes overtime kick in Green Bay. Glad he had that moment of joy.
I also liked the way Pat Summerall said, "EMMANUEL MCDANIEL...TOOK IT AWAY!"
I like Bob Papa a lot, but a signature call doesn't come to mind. What did he say about Roy Williams of the Cowboys?
Loved Pat Summerall.
"Uggggh"

There will be NO threepeat!
Summerall wrote an entire chapter in that game alone

'The report from the 49ers bench, everything hurts'
Then they cued up their player profile graphic with the bucket's height and weight, and it was his 3rd year in the league.
Also, on the replay of the flea-flicker to McConkey, Madden was great:
"Make a fake, make a dupe, make a flop ... But he didn't get in the end zone."
I've probably watched the VHS recording of the game 100 times.
Summerall: "What is the crowd singing? 'We will rock you!'?"
Madden: "Yeah, 'We...will...we...will...rock...you.'"
(Commercial break)
Summerall: "We will rock you...that's what they were signing all during the break. And they all seem to know the words."
Paraphrasing, he said: 'It all started with Erik Howard, an old nose tackle! Those old nose tackles don't get a whole lot of attention, but if the Giants go on to win this game Erik Howard will have made the biggest play of his life!'
