For those of us that went to the game: Eagles Fans

at a sports bar. They decided to make this bar their home bar for Eagles games. Last year it was Jets fans.

Anyway, not as bad as I expected, none of them actually touched us (there were three Giants fan in the whole room) and didn't get right in our faces as I had expected them to (as Cowboy fans do). But they did brag about how they protect their turf in Philly and will beat up any fan that dares to show up in another team's colors. Real classy...

are the most courteous and fun-loving(who else throws snowballs at Santa)in the world.
And who doesn't love the Philly Phanatic, or their hockey and basketball fans too. So kind. So knowledgeable.

with a custom jersey and a phillies hat was fine until the eagles started pulling away, then he became a loudmouth jerkoff, running his mouth and screaming, literally, after every single play. Whole section was telling him to shut up, eventually security got wind of it I guess and started acting like they were gonna toss him...but they didn't.

I mean, I get that we're "classier" or whatever, and I don't give a shit if someones wearing enemy colors, but when they start to abuse it and get loud and obnoxious, it gets pretty fuckin annoying. I'm not going to get thrown into jail over a game but it gets hard not to wanna knock someone like that into next week.

You know any one of us doing the same thing wouldn't make it out of philly alive...

He said the SC the eagles hired to show up never made it, so the Eagles management pulled some drunk out of the crowd who happened to be wearing a SC costume and trotted him out, but the fans were wise to them and started booing.

At least that was his story...

There seemed to be fewer Eagles fans than in past years, and the ones who were there didn't seem as loud or obnoxious. They probably know that their team sucks, too.

Screaming and jumping out of their chairs and running around the room. Worst part was they sang Fly Eagles Fly after every score.

Why don't we have a fight song?

I hope the Giants never have one. Singing a fight song sounds like a frat-boy thing to do.

Have a heart, it is the closest thing many of these fans will get to experiencing college.

Cheered when they scored.
Shut up when we scored.
Faced forward for the most part (my rule if you are a fan of the away team is just to always face forward -- turn around and you're asking for trouble).
