Does bringing Coughlin back make the Giants more attractive for top OC and DC candidates? He's an older coach so the HC spot of one of the leagues too franchises will soon be available, and a good coordinator will obviously have an inside track. Plus, I'm sure he's pretty well respected among his peers so it's a chance to learn from him before competing for the Giants HC job.
Who are some of the best young OC and DC candidates who are a few years away from competing for a HC job?
Yes I know it's not 100% sure that Fewell and Gilbride won't be back.
TC guided this club to two SB rings when in fact the talent on the field was not really better than "above average" at just about any position.
Or maybe you want to name the HOF candidates from TC's two SB winning clubs? Strahan of course, but other than Michael? Eli, and so far no-one else. Maybe Cruz, Nicks, or JPP if he gets his head out of his ass and plays up to his physical potential.
Folks here are really forgetting too fast what TC did for this team, and we continue to over-rate our players' talent.
If Dallas doesn't manage to get to the playoffs this year, then everyone there deserves to be canned and never participate in organized football ever again.
