I have heard from two people at work that some weather models are predicting a possible Noreaster for next week, with dropping temps. Anyone hear the same?
"We have a HUGE Weather system swooping in from the south...gaining strength...pressure is DROPPING...system is heading north north east...and it's Chris Farley...holy crap this is a doozy...batten down the hatches"
Last few Halloweens I always remember a cold spell moving in after a period of unseasonably warmer weather. A couple of years ago, didn't we have a snowstorm as well?
BBI's fascination with the weather is interesting (with all due respect to Weatherman and his great work). The thought process that gets someone from "I heard about a storm" to "let me check with BBI", skipping over weather.com and a bunch of similarly capable sites is curious.
I agree with you to a point.
When super storm Sandy was forming, Weatherman predicted a significant event was to happen in the North East at least 4-5 days before it was on the news or on weather websites. I was buying supplies before anyone in my town.
We have a fantastic resource here in weatherman, that’s why people check BBI for weather..
