NFT: Bad weather coming next week??

NYG60 : 10/17/2013 10:32 am
I have heard from two people at work that some weather models are predicting a possible Noreaster for next week, with dropping temps. Anyone hear the same?

Doesn't this happen fairly regularly though?

Last few Halloweens I always remember a cold spell moving in after a period of unseasonably warmer weather. A couple of years ago, didn't we have a snowstorm as well?
Does 40's-50's..

In Dubai, perhaps...

BBI's fascination with the weather is interesting (with all due respect to Weatherman and his great work). The thought process that gets someone from "I heard about a storm" to "let me check with BBI", skipping over and a bunch of similarly capable sites is curious.

I agree with you to a point.
When super storm Sandy was forming, Weatherman predicted a significant event was to happen in the North East at least 4-5 days before it was on the news or on weather websites. I was buying supplies before anyone in my town.
We have a fantastic resource here in weatherman, thatís why people check BBI for weather..
Fair enough, but that's for a major storm

I don't think 'hey, I heard it's going to rain, is it true?!' qualifies.
