Will 12/01/13 Giants Redskins be flexed?

Knee of Theismann : 11/11/2013 2:35 pm
I have a business trip the week of 12/2 thru 12/6. I will have to fly out on Sunday and I am trying to pick my flight time (Nashville to Houston, about 2 hrs). I don't know all of the rules about what can and can't be flexed, but I am wondering if you guys think it will happen. I have a hard time believing they will keep the game where it is.

How the fuck would we know?
Maybe I should have said

"Do you think..." instead of "Will" so people don't take me so literally and think that I assume someone knows for sure. I know no one knows for sure, but I thought maybe some people who know the rules about the stuff could make a better judgement call than me as to what time the game will most likely be played. Can an 8:00 game be moved to 1:00? Can Denver-KC be flexed AGAIN even though it will be the Sunday nighter just 2 weeks prior? How many times can a team be flexed in one year? Etc.
Denver KC is proteced

That was part of the deal CBS made when they allowed the first Denver KC game to be flexed, even though that one was protected too.
Can Saints vs. Seahawks

be moved from Monday night to Sunday night, or is that not possible?
No

MNF games cannot be flexed.
Thanks for all the info, Sneakers

Can an 8 PM game be moved to either 1 or 4, or only from 8 to 4?
Either

I think.
The slate of games is limited

because of the Thanksgiving games, so I think it stays. The only alternative I see is AZ/PHI, if both teams continue winning. Otherwise, there is no game that stands out from a competitive standpoint and NY/WAS are huge TV markets.
I'm thinking Bengals-Chargers might be to the 8:15 slot

I can't see Texans-Pats or Rams-9ers being flexed.

On the other hand, Giants-Redskins would seem to bring the largest combination of team fanbases. And in light of the fact there is no major matchup available (like Denver-KC), I'm wondering if they will go with the fanbase size and just keep it Giants-Skins.
If I had to wager a guess

I'd stick with Giants/Skins as that weeks Sunday Night game
Yeah, Bengals/Chargers

could be one to move also.

I hope it moves, I'm going to that game and would much prefer a day game.
Of course an 8 PM game can be flexed

Hence why it is caleld a flex schedule. Right now both teams are 3-6. Why would that game stay at 8 pm unless both teams ahev won more games and the Eagles are worse?

good point about AZ-Phi. But they will have to make this decision right after this coming weekend's games.

because of the fanbases and the fact it is a divisional game. I don't think records are the only factor, it is about how many people they can get to watch the game.
They flex out games that look bad in favor of games that look good

so their network partners aren't stuck with dogs late in the season.

Two 3-6 (for instance) teams will never be flexed anything but out of prime time.
