Another game not televised in my area. (I should just move back to NJ.) Did Eli really give Meyers a hard time on the sidelines yesterday? Did he go all Tom Brady? I'm not sure how I feel about that. I've always appreciated Eli's cool-headedness. ("Cooler than the other side of the pillow.") What's the consensus?
Dez Bryant 2.0.
Murphy cost us at least three and maybe six points yesterday. It was totally on him.
Too many boneheaded plays being made by the offense.
Its about time Eli goes after these guy for continually to mess up time after time.
Didn't see him go after Myers (or Murphy) though. Murphy needs to go back to riding the pine though.
Those things can not continue to happen. I am glad Eli finally got pissed at these guys, he needs to do more of that to keep them from constantly screwing up.

I think it might have been Brown, not Cruz that ran the wrong route
Papa and Banks were saying that Eli was pissed at Murphy after the INT, and that Gilbride was also talking to the WR.
TV cameras must not have caught it.
According to Howard Cross (@WFAN660) Eli Manning was screaming at Louis Murphy on the sidelines after that play. Clearly ran the wrong way.
Howard Cross on WFAN broadcast says an animated Eli Manning was discussing the interception with Louis Murphy Jr.
Brandon Myers on Emotional Eli: "That's what we need. We need somebody to hold everybody accountable and he does that."
@ConorTOrr @Giants Now Eli is lashing out at Myers after another drop. He's fired up. #nyg
#nyg INcomplete pass to Myers, and Eli is yelling at the TE. Manning is clearly getting annoyed w/mistakes by receivers.
I wouldn't be surprised if in a mid-week conversation he told lil' bro to stop being so forgiving and start chewing ass.
I teach high school math, and some students seem almost incapable of remembering patterns and numbers. It's like me with colors. I just can't see or remember the difference between colors that my wife and daughters learned as 6-year-olds.
There's a new sheriff in town, and his name is ELI !!
Myers just kept walking but he looked embarrased(like crap, I screwed the pooch on that one, embarrased).
In the same vein, earlier in the game the Giants sent Bear Pascoe (yes Bear Pascoe) deep for a bomb. Read the Parcells quote above one more time.
Nah, I just came out, said Nicks, when asked if he left the game because his knee was bothering him. It was just one of those situations where I let `Murph go ahead and take that.

Does he need to see a psychiatrist? Wassup? No love for the ball? He needs to read Keyshawn's book.

No one quite knows what triggered a rare outward display of emotion from wide receiver Hakeem Nicks. He inexplicably took himself out of Sunday's game against the Packers on a play in which there was a miscommunication between his replacement, Louis Murphy, and Eli Manning that resulted in an interception.

3rd down inside the 20 and nicks wanted out? Yeah... nothing wrong with his heart. He isn't even a top 50 WR this year. He truly bitched on us. Good riddance.
Yell at him privately and protect him publicly. That is a leader.
Simply, high percentage passing concepts Eli is getting picked off on. Let's recap. A slant, Screen, and now a 5-6 yard hitch. All INTs! That's pathetic. No wonder Eli doesn't trust others. Those are easy high percentage plays and the fools aren't executing something so simply.
Why on gods green earth is Murphy drafting on a hitch route? Sometimes I wish Eli had Brady's personality and just rage on everyone on the sideline more often.
He should be doing this many games ago. I would snap too if I am Eli. Fucking 5 yard hitch and you get picked off because the fool drifts to the right.
I am surprised he waited this long. I was hoping he would do this. You can only take so much stupid shit. On top of that, media experts and such ripping on Eli. Every broadcast mentions he leads the league in INTs. Then another stupid Int, where he gets picked off on a hitch route. Some of the stuff I have seen is flat out amazing this year. Picked off on a screen, slant, and now hitch. I can't believe that. It's a hitch, run it and turn around. Idiot drifts to the right.
We took away the option and choice routes on deeper passing concepts, but it doesn't mean shit if on shorter, high percentage routes someone is doing something else.
It's amazing how you and other people try to explain what option routes are, and how it fucks up when they arent on the same page.
Yet, as I predicted in the GT.... people still blasted Eli for that Eli. Even after the broadcasters, coaches, and Eli blamed Murphy.... people STILL blamed Eli. Just maddening.

They have maybe 1 more loss as a buffer. That's it. You can't afford these mistakes anymore.

How do you know we took away some of the option and choice routes?
I was encouraged by what I saw yesterday. It looks like little baby steps (due to the continued miscommunications) but I think they are beginning to gel out there on O. Hopefully they will continue to improve each passing week and we actually have a running game if Brown can stay healthy.
While it's been his worst season since his rookie year... He's gotten very little help.
The sad thing is... these guys can run perfect routes the rest of the year... Nicks can man up and swallow everything thrown his way and it won't mean much if the O-Line doesn't start protecting better.
Every time he drops back to pass... I'm holding my breath.
Why can't vet WR/TE's coming in from another system grasp this system? This isnt one or two guys here. Look at bennett last year. Heck even many of our 'home grown' guys take years to get it. Mario manningham, Jeremy Shockey,Jernigan, Amani at the beginning,Plax at the beginning.
The Nicks and Cruz types seem to be excpetions to the rules and even Cruz struggled bigtime early on with it.
If they have removed some choice routes from the deeper passing concepts that hopefully is a step in the right direction.

He has an idea, but in the end, just like everything in this offense, you need to be on the same page with the WR. That's the biggest issue. You need to be 100% on the same page with ZERO error. Why? Because if you're off by a mm, then that will result in a turnover. Where the WR does one thing, and the ball goes another way.
I am glad Eli went bat shit. A freaking int on a damn hitch route. He gets picked off on a hitch, slant, and screen. Obviously deep passes too. Bad decisions by Eli get picked off, and even balls of players shoes that pop up in the air. Hell of a fucking season when that shit happens. However, we are still in the playoff race which is amazing.
just saying...
I'm glad for Eli.
My money is on this. Eli is done covering for these guys 100%. Anish makes a hell of a lot of sense with the commentary on the short pass INTs. It's been crazy - the INTs we give up the past two seasons.
You be the judge
