So whichever team has the best short to intermediate passing game, should prevail....but then there are those nasty turnovers....it decided the first game, it will decide this one too...
With these weather conditions, if one team falls behind significantly, it will be very hard to play catch up....but this Giant team has never gone for the jugular when it has a team on the ropes.....
This offense has done nothing since the first two games....time for it to wake up....hopefully Nicks, if he is physically able, can have that game we have been waiting all year for....
is probably going to target Witten 20 times in this game with the wind conditions.
It's time for JWill to step up and shut down the Romo to Witten connection today. He's been getting better and this would be a tremendous opportunity for him to step up.
I keep hearing that the Giants won't have 6 turnovers again today, however this weather is not going to help in that regard. I just hope that Dallas is the team putting the ball on the ground today.
They will stack the box and dare Eli to throw. Eli has been throwing badly in perfect conditions all year. The conditions today are similar to the conditions for the Giants Eagle playoff game in 2008 when Eli was helpless. Also, I have ZERO confidence in Josh Brown making any kicks in this wind.
The Giants need to run the ball and force turnovers to win. If Dallas scores early it could get very ugly if Eli needs to bring Giants back.
Giants need to score first and have defense stuff run and batter Romo.
They guy is known for high stakes bets and is usually spot on. So, I decided to look around to see who the heavy hitters were on today and it looks like about 80% are on Dallas as well.
Kiss of death or are we over-analyzing this game and we get the win?
Haven't checked any weather reports, but I take it, be it Brooklyn or Jersey, there's tough winds over a wide area, yes?
It's nasty out there. Granted, wind conditions can change at any given point in time, but the marine forecasts currently say we're getting a steady 20 knots with 40 knot gusts inshore, which usually looks worse in East Rutherford because the winds start to swirl like crazy over there.
(which are via subscription from Sirius) are usually pretty dead on in terms of accuracy - say that we're looking at a steady 20 with the gusts until after 11 PM.
Not quite sure but this might be the windiest game the Giants
have played in since in Metlife. The wind here are gusts at times, but not steady. Like Eric said, by game time the wind may or may not lessen, but, what I learned through the years at the Meadowlands, when there's even slightests of wind..it seems much more there because the area in.
Is Romo pulling it down and running with it. I can see Dallas spreading us out and creating running lanes for Murray, then play action roll outs and bootlegs with the run pass option for Romo.
take less chances. It will probably be a very close game again if he does that. If we are turning the ball over again I don;t see how we will be able to win this game. Our STs have to be the best today, as well.
Mayweather tweeted photographs of 46 betting slips, totaling $3,890,833 worth of bets, and every single one of them was a winner, netting the fighter a cool $3,938,722 (and 87 cents) in winnings on those bets. Losing betting slips have been conspicuous by their absence. When asked about his losing slips, Floyd responded, Why would I ever show a losing ticket when Im 41-0.

First off the reason why a book would even release this is because they need money on Dallas to offset the money on us. They also work under the basic premise that the more money bet, the more they make. No book in its right mind would ever give out info like this unless they wanted others to follow his bet. Books get killed when too much money comes in on one team, they win when its on both

Not only is it extremely windy, but they're swirling winds. Flags atop the goalposts on each end are pointed towards midfield. #NYG
They're only averaging 3.1 yards/carry during this 4 game win streak, with teams not frequently selling out to stop the run.
Dallas' defense is hurting badly, especially along the DL, but I don't know if it's hurting enough for the Giants to not embarrass themselves offensively today.
this team just does not ever do well as the favorite!
THe only saving grace is that the GIants know that if they lose, any chance of them winning the Division is essentially over. Need to come out with energy, enthusiasm and a sense for ball security.
and windy helps us. It limits the downfield passing game, just like is currently happening the Jets Ravens game. But we have no such game.
So it's ground and pound. And we have a much better running attack and run defense than the Cowboys, especially with Brown, Jacobs, and Conner. We can also use Myers for some short passes. We do still need to be concerned about Witten, but the weather really helps us I think.
They just... don't, even if you only look at the four game win streak numbers vs the Cowboys' season ones. The only thing they have going for them in that comparison is quantity, as in they run the ball for attempts per game than Dallas, and no one should ever confuse quantity for quality.
The "advantage" to the Giants is the defenses being faced today, at least on paper.
have not taken advantage of the wind the way Parcells did.
Which is odd, given that Coughlin emphasizes the running game. Maybe "wind-friendly" passes, such as screens, are not as much of a staple of the offense?

Floyd just dropped 3.5 million on Dallas +2.5

Why waste him for that? Have him go out on patterns so Romo can get to him before the blitz gets there.
We gave the first one to them, we need to take this one away!
GO GIANTS!!!!!

he took Michigan over Alabama two years ago
That's how I would approach the conditions today.
but at the same time, if you can't throw the ball past 10 yards effectively, you can just go single high and put someone on Romo
I like Eli over Romo. 5 turnovers(instead of 6) and the Giants would have won meeting # 1.
Have to pick your spots against the wind, and definitely throw with the wind.....
So i would take his rep with a grain of salt
