Giants to pick 12th/2014 schedule is set

ray in arlington : 12/29/2013 7:29 pm
The Giants schedule in 2014 will be

Home: ARI, SF, HOU, IND, ATL
Away: STL, SEA, JAC, TEN, DET

The Giants will pick 12th. Note that I am not applying tiebreak to the 4-12 teams or to TEN and DET.

1 HOU 2-14
2 STL (from WAS) 3-13
3-7 JAC 4-12
3-7 CLE 4-12
3-7 ATL 4-12
3-7 OAK 4-12
3-7 TB 4-12
8 MIN 5-10-1
9 BUFF 6-10
10-11 TEN 7-9
10-11 DET 7-9
12 NYG 7-9

TEN and DET beat the Giants on SOS. STL will either finish 8-8 or lose the SOS tiebreak to the Giants.

This is coming from me, not the NFL, but I've done all the checking I can.

They said the same about Pugh last year. It's really early now anyway.

True enough, but Richardson is a guy who was previously talked about as a 1st round prospect, but has been falling in the eyes of the draftniks. Pugh was a prospect who started the draft season as a mid-round prospect and made a late April surge in the eyes of the draftniks.
so these last 2 wins
Mr. Nickels : 12/30/2013 2:12 am : link
cost us 4 picks from 8 to 12

Could be worse but that is pretty horrific
There are more than 4 good players in the draft

It's not like we're looking for a QB.

You've got to look at the situation for what it is. We're in the top 15.

Goes to the playoffs and they can get Clowney. Talk about hitting the jackpot.

The Giants December Schedule will have the Seahawks.49ers. And Eagles twice on it., giants always seem to get a tough schedule in December every year.while the Pats get the Browns Jagurars and Bills smh....

throw Keith Hamilton's son around on Saturday I find that he is projected to be a guard - because - once again - his arms are too short.

Well get one of the top guys in round one and get this guy in round two....One thing he never missed a game (52) in 4 years.

There are only 20 non-playoff teams, so being in the top 15 isn't exactly a great bonus for not making the tournament. I'd be much happier top 10 (ok, this "game" I'm playing is dumb because I'd obviously be even happier with the #1 overall position {sigh - the whole thing just sucks})

A Lewan-Martin left side of the line would sure look nice.
Depressing thought ...

There aren't enough draft picks to fill all of the "holes".

Even if every draft pick is a winner.

That is depressing. It's too bad there's no other way to obtain players in this day and age.
