in the linked article, they describe Omaha as meaning "opposite" in terms of the direction of the play.
However, this Fifth Down blog analysis (fantastic breakdown with pictures assuming it's accurate, ha), discusses "Omaha" differently

Let’s take a step back and examine Manning’s cadence. I think it’s essential to understanding what happened. Before the snap, you could catch Manning’s verbiage on the television broadcast: “Red 19, Red 19, set hut. 59’s the Mike, 59’s the Mike. Bingo. Omaha, Omaha, set hut.”
When the Giants run a play with a traditional snap count, they snap the ball after Manning’s first “set hut.” If Manning had called the play and then uttered “on one” in the huddle, the ball would have been snapped following the first “set hut.”
On this particular play, however, Manning issued an “Omaha” call. “Omaha” isn’t any sort of audible, but rather a snap count indicator. Like an indicator used by third-base coaches in baseball, Manning’s “Omaha” indicator alerts the offense that the snap count is now “live.” When Manning called “Omaha” in the huddle, it told the offensive players that anything he says before “Omaha” is meaningless. Thus, the “Red 19, Red 19, set hut” that Manning yelled meant nothing to the Giants on this play.
So why use it? Because by running through a fake snap count, Manning can get the defense to show their intentions. They don’t know the initial cadence is a “dummy” one (because the Giants don’t use an “Omaha” call on every play), and thus they often show what they’re planning to do.
Had Manning not issued an “Omaha” call on this critical play, he may not have noticed the Bucs’ blitz. They initially showed a Cover 2 shell, but they were really in man coverage.
is to think that individuals actually go about their lives and daily activities doing things differently than others. lol. Gotta leave to media types, they have to zero in on any thing to talk about.
What a bunch of wasted time on the play clock... Â
sometimes gettin bit in the ass.....example, blue 19...blue 19

Half of that is probably to intentionally waste time on the play clock. Peyton always has the O lined up with 15+ secs to go.
And it's quite possible that "Omaha" means different things to different teams. I wouldn't even be surprised if teams change up the meaning of it themselves on a regular basis

That (in red) makes the most sense... if it means the same for every team, everybody on defense would know whats going on.
I think it likely changes from team to team, game to game. It may mean something this week, something totally different the following week.
defense just scream omaha all the time, just to confuse the offense?
Thit might violate rule 12-3-1, in which the following is coconsidered unsportsmanlike conduct:
"Using acts or words by the defensive team that are designed to disconcert an offensive team at the snap. An official
must blow his whistle immediately to stop play."
whenever Eli calls Omaha, the ball is snapped on "Go." Same thing with Peyton's "hurry," and I believe with "express" that I've heard from other teams.

Seems to me, hurry hurry means get me the damn ball, the play clock is running down!!! :)

That's the closest thing I found.
Besides - they've got their own stuff they're yelling out.
jk of course.
Maybe Eli should yell OMAHA!!!!!! louder.
