Not sure how much Mario has left in the tank, but for obvious sentimental reasons, I'm ok with this. Plus BBI gets one of its favorite whipping boys back. Can't wait for all the threads questioning his mental acuity.
I think his problem with the Gaints was an inability to grasp the offemse and hewas oftem not on the same page as Eli which is the same problem that Randle has. The change in OCs might help if only with this aspect of the game. Wold love to see Manningham come back.
The guy had a great year in 2010 for us. His biggest problem in 2011 was the emergence of crUz and that he had minor dings. If he is healthy it makes complete sense for both sides to join together again
but cut down on the number of reads the WR/QBs had to make simultaneously, cutting back on the "thinking" the WRs had to do and let them play more naturally.
(My recollection was that "thinking" was not one of 'Rio's fortes.)
Maybe he'd thrive under the revised system.
The offense is going to be at least slightly different anyway (maybe a little less complex, who knows...), so if he's healthy and comes cheap, I don't really see the downside.
Friday afternoon is the last time I looked at BBI, So bumming around late on a Sunday, I figure, "what the hell...I'll take a look to see if anything happened on the weekend".
Apparently we have a whole new team....haha.
He'd easily be more useful than Murphy. He's about as proven

Bingo! If healthy he could have a nice year in this new system

Former Giants WR Mario Manningham is scheduled to meet former team in NJ on Monday, per source. Manningham highly interested in returning.
Jacobs and Ross
Brandon Jacobs.
Tell that to Brandon Jacobs and Jessie Armstead.

Manning to Manningham- first down!
Quietly building a decent team.
You must be one of those "prepare to have a bad season"
disciples. Even though it's only fucking March 16th....
