Our 2014 GMs are set. NJGiantFan84, uconngiant and Anakim will fill three vacancies this year (Anakim, you still owe me an email address). If a GM misses two consecutive picks without providing a prospect list or making some form of contact with me (email or posting on the draft thread) Saos1n and Yatqb will have priority to fill the vacancy. Otherwise, the spot will be reassigned to one of the BBIers that didn't get into the draft but were active in the draft discussion thread.
Similar to years past, I may start the Draft Selection and Discussion threads a few days prior just to get the ball rolling , but the clock will NOT officially start until
Thursday, April 17th at 9am.
Once again, this year’s draft falls at a less than ideal time for me, so I may not be quite as active particularly in Week 2-3 of the Draft. I will try to keep the spreadsheet current throughout each day and be around to make any final decisions on auto-selections from the GBN Big Board. That being said, in my absence, if a few of our more active GMs wouldn’t mind keeping the Selection thread current (every 8-10 picks or so) and starting callout threads for GMs who may not know that they are on the clock (1 hour elapsed is a good time to start one), I would GREATLY appreciate it. At the very least, I will make sure that all selections on the spreadsheet and the selection thread are current at the end of each day. As I have time, I will send GM’s “friendly reminder” emails though I may not be able to do so as often as years past.
*Note: I have linked this year’s
BBI Mock Draft Spreadsheet and the most recent
GBN Big Board (3/4) for your reference. Just remember they are likely to be updated before the start of the Draft.
Again, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, either post them here or email me at mpgavigan@gmail.com

And amtoft is still totally a big jerkface, amirite?
Amtoft
CiP - Totally. :-)
You could throw James "cross legged" Brewer out at RT and it would still be the best Oline in the league. It does look like Konz is a blemish on my record though.
Quick question: How much time is alotted between picks?

Actually no I wasn't right... Or half right as Schwenke is legit and was a steal last year. I said Frederick would suck and wouldn't be drafted in the second like some predicted... Not going to try and say I was right since he went in the 1st and I think I said 4th. I also said he would be the 3rd center taken at best. Also said he was the third smartest center behind Jones and Schwenke right before he posted the highest wonderlic test of the 3 (all very smart players). No matter who becomes the better pro or the fact that Jerry Jones is an idiot as a GM with a reach of Frederick... I fully admit that Jon was correct while I was wrong and he won that argument on draft day by far.
Well of course... I got you a puppy... I mean a surprise!
So did Ken Dorsey, Colt McCoy, Tim Tebow, Kellen Moore, etc... Winning isn't everything. I am not sold on him at all, but a guy I like in the 4th or 5th round is QB David Fales from San Jose State. Super under rated guy.
I am really looking forward to BBI's mock draft. I've been prepping for it for months.
