Big fight tonight, two of the best in the business and they both want this fight bad. Both guys have the heart of champions and are incredibly skilled.
This should be a potential fight of the year candidate. Fight fans enjoy!
Going to war tonight. At the very least 2 of the top 5. This is what boxing fans dream of, 2 of the best going head to head.
The undercard is not big names but they supposedly evenly matched. If the aren't going to be names at least the matches are not one sided affairs (on paper).
Been a few fights recently, over the past 2 years:
League as the others you mentioned. Let Canelo best Lara first and then I think it is fair. I like Froch, but I don't consider him a special fighter either. Just my opinion so I have no problem with you thinking otherwise.
by TKO. Bradley is tough, but I can see him getting caught tonight and Pac pouncing all over him. I also don't think Bradley won the 1st fight although it was a lot closer then most people thought.
I think Pac is damaged good and Bradley is the real deal
just have to see if Pac has one more great fight left in him. Not sure where he goes, win or lose, after this fight. Porter/Malinaggi winner? A lot of 140lbrs out there. Pac / Danny Garcia would be good or Pac / Khan
then he got brutally ko'd. 60 fights +. Fights that fight with his style burn out quick. He's no longer invincible. There was a time when you couldn't imagine anyone beating him. Now there are a handful of fighters I could picture beating him.
just like he was made for mayweather. if bradley dominates pac, he is the number 1 opponent for mayweather, although top rank / golden boy war will prevent it. bradley gives mayweather trouble
who wins the 5th I'll just give to Bradley again because I thought he landed the better shots. 48-47 Bradley. But it could have gone either way for me.
Bradley's strategy needs to work now, because he's not winning this fight without knocking Manny out. It's been a terrible strategy, but he can't change it now, too late
Pac. Bradleys trainer says the fight is even, but it's not. The rounds pac won he won easily Bradley has 2 rounds he clearly won and 2 that were close.
a lot of fighters out there now that can beat him. I guess saying he's not elite is a little tough based on what's out there, but he's not into it like he once was and that spells big trouble in boxing
1 - I love Manny, but he needs to retire. He's 50% (at best) of what he used to be.
2 - Even diminished, he still beat Bradley. That's impressive.
3 - Bradley could've tied on my scorecard if he didn't mail in the damn 6th round. I've never seen a guy give away a round like that before. Manny didn't do a damn thing and won the round anyway.
4 - Manny is not even close to peak and he was still in better shape than Bradley. He kept his hands up for 12 straight rounds.
5 - Please stop inviting Manny's mother to the fights. She tried to voodoo hex Bradley.

like you said it's to late. I wanted to see it a few years ago. Now Floyd would beat Pac, and it wouldn't be close. Few years ago I'd say it would have been a great fight. The only fighter who's skillful enough now to beat Floyd right now is unfortunately to big to fight him, and that's Andre Ward. I'd like to see GGG but, who knows if that'll happen.
TR has very few fighters for Manny to fight. He gets an L on a BS decision vs Bradley the first time setting up a rematch. Then Bradley, usually polite as a school boy, starts trying to play the villain and get under Pacs skin. When the rematch comes, Bradley, a feather fisted puncher, bizarrely starts throwing haymakers to get his revenge for his tarnished W and in the process loses, setting up a third fight.
Given TR's thin stable of opponents for its bell cow, this really works out too perfectly.
His footwork is unreal. 6th on it was his fight no looking back. If you want to get him you have to be able to land 25 a round. Not likely, his d was tight tonight.
you'd know that just cause fighter A beats fighter B and fighter B beats fighter C, in no way does that mean fighter A beats fighter C. Most of those dudes would be heavy underdogs, but to think they don't have a chance is absurd. Pac is nearing the end of his career and some young gun will beat him if he continues to fight for a while
I just said they wouldn't beat him. You sound pretty confident that they would. Everybody has a "chance" of course. You declared him "done" which is ridiculous.
And of course if he keeps fighting someone will beat him. That's not offering any kind of amazing insight at all.
None of the guys you mentioned with the exception of Mayweather and maybe Prov have a good chance to beat him right now.
that went on a terror from Barerra to Margarito is done. Won't see him again. Any of the guys I names can beat him. I stand by both of those statements. A couple of those fighters winning would be major upsets, but I'm not sure anyone will be surprised when Pac loses again, whether it is by KO or decisions
Mayweather has slowed down too. He is not nears as quick on his feat as you used to be and that started years ago. That is one if the reasons he doesn't fight guys with good footwork and certainly no lefties bc his defense is built for right handy fighters. He has not been the same guy since his retirement and that is why he fights who he fights.
It is not a given at all that he beats Pac. Sadly we will never know bc Floyd doesn't have the balls to fight him.
By Pac. Hell prob all those guys save Prov and maybe Thurman. Thurman hasn't even fought top comp yet. He looks the part but he still has a lot to prove (and I am a huge fan of his)
when Manny adapts his style to take less punishment and handily beats a top 5 P4P guy, he's vulnerable, but when Floyd, who used to exchange more, adapts a more risk free style, he's a genius.
That said, I think the difference between this Manny and 2010 Manny is that that Manny used to be willing to walk through a few shots in order to get in 10 of his own. After a few rounds of hitting Manny a few times and getting battered in return, opponents would shell up and he'd abuse them.
It is pretty obvious that Roach has been working on his
Defense and accountability after the Last Marquez fight. This is def a good thing since Pac he's been thru a lot of tough wars over the years. It will only serve to protect him and prolong his career.
Until two guys get in the ring, its all speculation. I don't think a third fight with Bradley will sell, so hopefully Pac and Bradley will be back in the ring before the end of the year in meaningful fights.
but I just get the feeling Martinez is gonna chop him up. GGG is gonna bust up Chavez but that will be a really fun fight to watch and will introduce GGG to the casual fans. Lara / Canelo is a great fight with two of the best JrMiddleweights. I don't understand why no belt is on the line
Belt sanction fees and he thinks it Floyd's belt. Reading between the lines, it could be that if Lara loses and maintains his belt, he is still set up for good fights down the road.
Can't wait.
my hope is we just get a clear winner

fought each other?
Marquez/Bradley, Marquez/Pac, Mayweather/Alvarez, Froch/Ward
Good fight is all I hope for.
2 had it 116-112.
Why shouldn't the Floyd fight happen? Two biggest boxers of there era, even if its five years too late, it should happen.

Love it when they say no excuses then proceed to give an excuse
A lot of fighters out there now can beat him? Name them.
Hahaha. Mayweather is an obvious selection. But the rest?
Maidana? Thurman? Porter? Matthysse? That's absurd.
Prov maybe because he's got power to end it. But he just lost to Bradley. So no.
Marquez? Why? Because he got one shot? And he lost to Bradley?
Let's be honest. Manny beat Bradley twice.
Given TR's thin stable of opponents for its bell cow, this really works out too perfectly.
What fights are left? Who can sustain the output?
TB is a beast; I fucking love TB's heart!
And of course if he keeps fighting someone will beat him. That's not offering any kind of amazing insight at all.
