I am starting this thread early to get the ball rolling, but the clock will NOT officially start until
Thursday, April 17th at 9am. The draft will run from 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday until the start of the NFL Draft (Thursday, May 8th) or the completion of the 5th round. Please remember to use the DISCUSSION thread so we can keep this thread uncluttered.
Once a team is on the clock, they will have two hours to make a selection. If a team goes on the clock after 4pm, their two hour window will roll over to the next day. For example, if you go on the clock at 4:30pm, you will have until 9:30 am to make a selection. Picks may be made between 6pm and 9am if GMs are online and following the draft thread. The time limit only applies during the 9am to 6pm time frame. If the two hour time limit expires, I will make a pick using any list that the GM for the team has sent me in advance (send lists to the email address in my profile) or in the absence of a list, I will use the
GBN Big Board with a little discretion so as not make an obvious dumb pick (ie: Indianapolis Colts won’t be taking a QB in the 1st round this year). If a GM misses two consecutive picks without providing a prospect list or making some form of contact with me (email or posting on the draft thread) Saos1n and Yatqb will have priority to fill the vacancy. Otherwise, the spot will be reassigned to one of the BBIers that didn't get into the draft but were active in the draft discussion thread.
I have saved the GBN Big Board as of 4/2 in a
Google Document. Once again, we will have a
Google Spreadsheet. The spreadsheet contains the draft order (RD1-5) by team (and GM) and a list of both available and taken prospects based on the GBN Big Board (as well as several other prospects that did not make the GBN Big Board). I will try to keep the spreadsheet and thread updated as often as possible.

(BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)
Em, wit the, eh, fiddy forth pick in da 2014 NFL Draft, da Fildelfya Iggles pick, em:
Demarcus Lawrence, DE/OLB, Boise State
Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson
I started watching this kid early on this college football season when I tried to get my first good look at projected top 10 pick, Sammy Watkins… When the announcers indicated Watkins was not the player I was watching, I distinctly remember saying to myself, "Well, who the hell is THAT?!" He is raw and needs to work on his routes, but his upside is enormous... At 6'4 211 lbs he clocked 4.42 with a 39" vert and 10'2 broad... Size, speed and athleticism are similar to Justin Hunter, but I see a guy with superior body control and is better at catching the ball in traffic... He also doesn't look maxed out and could possibly add some weight without losing speed...
Huge wingspan and does a great job tracking the ball, high pointing and making the catch despite tight coverage... Bryant is a big time vertical threat averaging 20ypc last year and should be a legit redzone target at the next level... He will take time to develop his route tree, but learning behind and along side AJ Green should help him to get there... He is worth the risk, IMO...
DE Kareem Martin 6'6" 272lbs
Kareem Martin DE - ( New Window )
Kareem Martin DE - ( New Window )
And Pete took him for the 49ers one pick before yours
Sorry no pic or gif...on my phone.
Go Terps is still on deck... And Attoucho was already selected ao you need a new pick as well...

The Carolina Panthers need a WR in the draft. Ideally, they want another Steve Smith, but they will take a tough, chain mover who can flash as well.
They select Jarvis Landry, WR LSU
CB Bashaud Breeland - Clemson
***C Marcus Martin***
6'3 318# out of USC
Versatile and powerful OL has 30 consecutive starts(10@C/20@G). Ryan Wendell was a liability at C and is best suited as a backup. Maknins and Connolly have 29 years between them(10/9) @OG. The interior OL needs both a youth and a talent infusion. Martin gets the nod.
