by cleanest, I mean without concerns or issues.
I hear Jake Matthews is cleanest player in draft but he won't make to 12. not looking for highest ceiling but safest.
BBI has gotten me on the Aaron Donald bandwagon but he is very light for a DT and carries risk.
Eric Ebron can not block which I think eliminates him from my viewpoint...our biggest issue was giving Eli more time.
Mike Evans now will not even make it to 12 but even if he did....I can see his game neutralized by NFL defenders.
Barr scares the hell out of me...way to risky. I see major bust potential.
Even Taylor Lewan, besides his off the field issue might have slower feet? usually OL are relatively safe draft picks
I hear Zack Martin is a Pugh clone but like Pugh seems to be better suited inside....could he be the safest pick?
All the names I keep hearing seem to have issues...

There's no truly bonafide pick that is a sure bet. There's risk in every pick that can be made an at #12 there's more risk than if you were in the top 10.
IMO Donald is a solid pick there, I'm not as in love with him as others on here - but he has shown he can be extremely disruptive on the inside. He has an amazing first step out of the 3 technique, and it looks like he has excellent technique, both in space and in tight quarters.
Ebron? No thanks.
Mike Evans will be gone, and Lewan has serious character issues. As someone above posted, Jake Matthews is probably the only other possibility here if he drops.
But you stated, unequivocally, that Pugh is better suited to the inside. You didn't qualify that statement with "that's what the experts said."
Pugh has the AA to play tackle and has proved it on the field in the NFL; Martin hasn't shown the same capability. Yes, he's versatile and will likely be an asset on any given O-Line, but not at Tackle, and never with the 12th pick.
Martin? No clue but mostly every report says he can play inside or outside. He started at LT for the Irish. We don't know if the giants like him but of they do, you'd have to believe they take him at 12. We know they love the versatility thing...and they love those Irish graduates.
Martin is the answer to the OP's question. I could see the Giants taking him and putting him at either RT (with Pugh moving to LT) or at G in replace of Snee.

The Giants have mentioned it as a possibility before. Perhaps you should take it up with them?
2.Martin
3.Donald
Ebron isn't a risk as a player. His blocking isn't as bad as advertised. His willingness included. I have him second as cleanest, and low risk.
Martin is third. I would really like to trade down with him as the target.
