last year. And his best college year was his sophomore year, before he got injured. If you pick him that high, you're gambling that he returns to that sophomore year form.
but I think Carolina would be pressed to take him at 28 given their WR woes and wasting Cam's talent. I don't think he makes it past Seattle at 32 though. Not sure if Carroll had a hand in his recruitment (I think there was a year gap), but that team needs a WR as well.
I think you could drop down to 20 and easily still have him there. That could add another 2nd, or a 3rd and 4th, if that were the player you wanted, but I can not see the Giants moving down, they never do that, and they will not start doing it now.
GUY had 191 catches his FIRST two years at a major college program. Elite production as a frosh/soph is usually a great indicator of special talent. He is one of the smoothest looking WRs in this draft. Bigtime game speed vs timed speed.
Season, he was thought to be a top 5 pick, and there was more hype for Lee than Sammy Watkins. He's going to be one of those players that will compete for rookie of the year, IMO.
But I really trust Reese with 1st round picks, so I'd have to reevaluate my position if that took place.
Again he's a top 5-7 pick coming out last year. So unless his body type won't hold up , he's great value at 12 depending on if Donald is gone and/or one of the top blue-chippers like Matthews falls.
Amazing a guy who is 6 feet and 1/2 inch and 195 lbs is too small, but a guy who is 6 feet 1 inch and 205 is considered big
What does Lee not do that any other WR coming out do better. Watkins runs a little better, Evans is taller. Lee does everything. Lee goes over the middle more than those 2 combined
Having a knee injury certainly takes him out of being the 12th pick but the guy is going to be a tremendous pro
He's electric. He's a game changer. Evans, even with the LoS reservations is a potential RZ monster. When you are picking 12 you want a game changer. Hakeem Nicks was slightly bigger and had a monster junior year, he went 29.
Lee would be a desperation pick and we'd be passing at better players at 12.
Lee might be the best athlete of the 1st round receivers

Lee is going to be the second best receiver of this draft.
I have no doubts he will be productive if healthy, but we need a game changer at 12.
He's probably underrated. Not overrated. Still wouldn't take him at 12, but.. yeah. Not seeing where the overrated tag is coming from.
Pick an O-lineman, preferably versatile.
If his body frame holds up to NFL punishment he will be close to Watkins. Keep in mind if he came out last year he likely goes top 5-7
Beckham Jr. on the other hand. That's my guy if we stay at 12 or trade down slightly.

When you have ordinary measurables, you aren't going to get taken with a pick that high, or atleast you shouldn't.
He's a late 1st rounder this year, MAYBE mid rounder last year based on lack of WR talent.

Watkins is fast and quick, but I don't think he moves as well as this guy.
Beckham Jr is close, reminds me a little of Brandon Tate, also might be one of those talented marshmallow heads.
