Which draft choice will go higher then projected?

Carl in CT : 4/15/2014 2:05 pm
My pick is Carr. I think he goes top 18.
it is funny

I think 1 qb gets taken before the giants pick and most of the qbs will drop to the second round. Whcih sucks for us. I don't see any separation from any of the qbs. I think if Manzel was under the radar and was not high profile, i think he is above everyone else. I think a lot of teams like carr though, but if no one is taking qbs early you might be right.
Agree about Carr.

But higher than predicted by who? Ya gotta give a reference for the OP to make any sense.

Not that I suspect you gathered that....
Martin will slide to the Giants in round two.

Oh thats the wrong direction, well it was wishfull thinking anyway.

Expectations are shifting by the day

So it's hard to pinpoint a lot of the projections. I would say Odell Beckham.
I've

been saying Carr for awhile. Also Mettenberger and Latimer.
I'll say
Carl in CT : 4/15/2014 2:41 pm : link
Carr before Bridgewater!
Ryan Shazier and Cody Latimer
Torrag : 4/15/2014 2:44 pm : link
Shazier goes top 25 and Latimer top 75.

Sadly, I think Donald will be off the board way before us (top 5-10).

I think that there will be some teams desperate for pass rushers in a weak pass rush class so someone like a Jackson Jeffcoat could go in round 1.

The TE class is kind of funny in that after Ebron, the next half-dozen or so TEs in terms of ranking are less "new breed of TE" and more traditional and/or average athletically... until you get to a guy like Colt Lyerla who is projected to go day 3 but will probably go sooner. That's my guess at least.
Depends on who is doing the projecting, but . . . .

once a sleeper, Garoppolo may not make it out of the 2nd round. There seem to be enough folks who strongly believe he can develop into a starting NFL QB. And if he's there when a team that needs a QB is picking, they may grab him, irrespective of those who peg him for the mid-rounds.

LOoooooove him so damn much. He could go top ten or late second that's crazy.
CJ Mosely and David Yankey
uncledave : 4/15/2014 3:02 pm : link
Both should go in the top 15 imo but easily in the top 20. No one seems to talk about either up in the top 15 but mosely is an animal and yankey is by far the best guard in the draft.

I felt certain Lewan would be available at #12. Now Im not so sure.
Agree with AcidTest on Mettenberger
FranknWeezer : 4/15/2014 3:15 pm : link
I feel like he will go middle of Round 1. Potentially as the first qb taken.

Shazier getting picked in the top 25. Somehow I wish he'd be there for Giants in the 2nd. I really hope we don't trade up in this draft, unless it's for a pro bowl caliber player. Who that will be is anyone's guess.

Martin is the best guard in the draft.
The answer is easy!
John K : 4/15/2014 9:08 pm : link
It's whoever the Giants take at #12!
Yankey
Marty866b : 4/15/2014 10:09 pm : link
Is dropping. Teams are concerned about his lack of balance. Will not be a first round pick.
