no QBs go before #12, then I'd be surprised if anyone traded up to #12 for one. Manziel, Bortles, Carr, Bridgewater, McCarron, Savage, and Mettenberger would still be left. Almost everyone who wanted a QB could get one in the second under this scenario.
And I'm NOT taking EE at 12. Give me Lewan at 12. Even Hageman if we are going DT.
Hageman interests me. He seems like a guy we would draft based on his physical size and ability to knock balls at the LOS down.
Hageman is a major risk at #12. At times he looks otherworldly. At other times, he appears disinterested. Lots of emotional issues as well, a result of his horrific childhood. Had some early academic problems at Minnesota, and was arrested for disorderly conduct IIRC. Also has a kid. Too risky IMO. Too much of a "boom or bust" type pick.
I love it when people post absolute statements like this about the draft. Unless you're A) Jerry Resse himself or B) someone who works in the Giant's FO with explicit knowledge of what the Giants draft board looks like, you have about as much a clue on who they will draft as a doorstop does.

You're so wise and tough. Let's hear what your opinion is on the draft. Oh, and since you want to back things up with evidence from the Giants FO, instead of just chewing the fat, let's see you provide that as well.
Otherwise, recognize the forum you're in and the appropriate level of discourse and keep your mouth shut.

Since you hate absolute statements as well, I'll further have to call you out on your doorstop comment. Please provide a doorstop's opinion and verify its origin. Thanks.

1. A doorstep has no knowledge of what the Giants draft board looks like.
2. Neither do you
So therefore you and the doorstop share your ignorance of what the Giants will do in common, as do all of us. Thus making a statement like "they won't draft so and so over so and so" is speculation and should read something more like "I don't think they would draft so and so over so and so". It's fun to talk about and speculate. All Kulish is saying is the absolute statements around draft time get out of hand... And he is not wrong.
calling bullshit on the need to couch ever opinion
It's a waste of time typing. It's easy enough to know when a definitive statement here is just opinion; doesn't require spelling out explicitly or a blood brawl. IMO.

Giants are in a good position regardless, IMO.

And there's no way we take Ebron over Martin.

We suck at TE, but our current OL is one starting injury away from a 4-12 team.
