Final Cut Pro. You can edit video add transitions and music however you want. It takes some training though because it's an intricate program. Hope that helps
and then askjeeves, go.com should have some AOL chatroom that could help, assuming you've got Quicken software and a dedicated phone line. From there it's lickitysplit and your favorite Creed track should be overlayed on some choice clips in no time!
For all my videos. Some may remember the ones I made during the last Super Bowl run. Those apparently came out quite good, according to the BBI consensus.
I'm trying to experiment with making a Rangers playoff video, and motherfuckin google and this stupid windows 8 shit keeps leading to fuckin dead ends..
And looking for something free, this one seems to cover the basics: http://videopad-video-editor.en.softonic.com/
If you can spend a bit of $, I'd recommend Adobe Premiere Elements (around $100). Easy to use, although if you plan to do a lot of projects in the future I'd go for the full-feature Premiere Pro version, or Final Cut if you have a Mac.
use Windows movie maker to make video presentations for homework, you can do it too. It's easy, but basic.
if you find you want something more than that, but don't want full blown Final Cut Pro or to pay for anything you can download a trial of Final Cut pro or Corel Video Studio - both are pretty idiot proof.

Did I mention that it's free?
I've used it for various videos. I like it.
And it's free.
Brilliant.

So they should be good for you.
