So my wife and her mom have decided that we are going to take a vacation with the whole family to Costa Rica. I'm not against the family vacation idea, but I'm more of a beach guy than a zip lining through a forest kind of guy. That being said, the decision has been made, and now I've been given the task of figuring out where we should go. We have kids ages 10-14, adults, and senior citizens, and we are planning on going next April. Any recommendations are much appreciated.
Especially if you are bringing kids, you will need lots for them to do.
it kind of freaked us out a bit.

Costa Rica has something for everyone, whether it would be hangin on the beach/pool, or eco tours (ziplining etc)
The Westin was a short cheap hotel shuttle away from the beach town of tamarindo where there are surf lessons, shops and restuarants. We took a sunset snorkel cruise from there and it was the highlight of the trip.
Costa Rica and the Westin is highly recommended.
Let me know if you have any questions
Not the most beautiful beach I have ever been to but the wife and I enjoyed taking surfing lessons together, the people were very friendly and there are some nice restaurants and fun beach bar type places.
I'm sure there is zip lining near by but we didn't hit that up
A friend went a few years ago and recommended this place to stay

He also said definitely hire a driver and not rent a car. The roads are brutal there.
AMAZING, AMAZING, and more
I'll find out where he is
