NFT: Spring Flu you didnt get a shot for

So the other day I posted a "Spring Colds suck" thread and a lot of people shared their symptoms etc. Well it turns out its not a cold but a real flu - and for those of us who got a flu shot in the Fall and thought we were safe well...

in January.. and got this flu.

This is the first time i ever had a flu shot. I also work in a part of a hospital where there are VERY sick people and it's required. I never get them before(egg allergy). I rarely get the flu. last time was post SB42. Go figure

than in the 1970's Jimmy Carter ordered the swine flu shots. There were two rounds to the shots but the second round was cancelled when someone got paralyzed from a reaction to round one. Anyway since that shot I have never had the flu again in forty years with no other shots.

and never got it again after that. Last couple of years, I have gotten the flu shot.
