Would have been a first rounder before the injury my guess is winds up going somewhere in the middle if round 2
Don't see Easley as a second rounder, not after tearing both ACLs. Early day three pick. Somebody with a lot of picks will take a chance on him, like the 49ers did with Lattimore and Carradine last year. We should look elsewhere.
Extract from article..and a key reason why I want Martin at #12...
Snee missed most of last season with a torn left hip labrum which required surgery, and that came just months after he'd had surgery on his right hip. But the rehab from this hip surgery was "easier," the source said, and it hasn't been an issue for the 32-year-old lineman for several months. Snee's elbow has come around as well, and he's now moving "pretty aggressively."
But Snee, who took a pay cut this offseason, still seems like the best option if he's healthy. And all signs point to him being ready to see action in a critical summer for the Giants. The entire offense will be learning the new system being implemented by first-time offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo, and the line needs to be on the field as much as possible to get in sync. That's something that didn't happen in 2013, when offensive lineman after offensive lineman, from Snee to David Baas to Jim Cordle to Brewer, suffered injuries, and the unit rarely seemed cohesive.
The Giants will aim to avoid that this offseason. And Snee's health, which seems to be improving, could be a key.
Is there a web address for this guy's crystal ball? Does it have a money back guarantee?
He played a few games at LT, but wasn't he primarily a RG for the Dolphins? Sure, he only signed a one-year deal, and the Martin situation hangs over him like a dark cloud, but I find it curious that RV didn't give him a mention in his Snee blurb.

but conditioning is a must. His career is at stake. He plays well - he jump starts his career. He doesn't he'll bounce around to a few more teams for the league minimum on his way out the league.

He's a backup, not someone you want starting.
He's started 45 of the 57 games he's played, including the last 32 straight for the Dolphins. I seem to recall that what he lacks as a pass-protector he makes up for as a run-blocker. I would imagine that if Snee is Plan A at RG, Jerry is definitely Plan B.

You pointed out exactly why he should only e looked at as a backup (for us) now. He's a liability in pass protection, and after last year--no sir not again.
