NFT: Anyone own a Canon vixia rf400 camcorder?

I'm thinking about buying a consumer level, HD camcorder. I have a one year old and my wife and I really enjoy taking pictures and videos of his "first times". While the iPhone is convenient, the quality is lousy. Also, we don't use FB or social media, so it's not like we need the smartphone convenience. Does anyone have any of canon's lineup?

It's lightyears ahead of any video you'd take with a smartphone. Basic physics, they have more space for optics and sensors so they do a better job (in particular, in low light where any camcorder will struggle but smartphones are almost useless).

Best of all, buy from Costco and you have 90 days to figure out whether it's for you.
